Established in 2022, the Sea Dragons Triathlon Team is helping grow what is still a minority but rapidly expanding sport. 

海龙铁人三项队成立于2022年，一直致力于推动这项目前仍属小众但发展迅速的运动。

Triathlon is unique in that it demands mastery across three endurance disciplines—swimming, cycling, and running—and requires exceptional physical stamina, mental toughness, perseverance, and determination.

铁人三项的独特之处在于，它要求选手全面掌握游泳、自行车和跑步三项耐力运动，并需要具备非凡的体能、心理韧性、毅力和决心。

On November 22nd and 23rd, the Sea Dragons Triathlon Team traveled to Zhaoqing for an exciting weekend of competition.

11月22日至23日，海龙铁人三项队前往肇庆，度过了一个激动人心的比赛周末。

For both athletes—Joey (U13) and Daren (U11)—this event marked a major milestone, especially for Daren, who was racing his very first triathlon after weeks of dedicated training.

对于两位运动员——陈同学（U13组）和方同学（U11组）来说，这次赛事是一个重要的里程碑，尤其对方同学而言，在数周刻苦训练后，这是他人生中首次参加铁人三项比赛。

Triathlon is a demanding sport consisting of five continuous phases: the swim, the transition to the bike, the cycling leg, the transition to the run, and the run—where every second counts because the clock never stops, even in transition.

铁人三项是一项极具挑战性的运动，包含五个连续阶段：游泳赛段、换项至自行车、自行车赛段、换项至跑步，以及跑步赛段——每一秒都至关重要，因为计时从不停止，即使在换项区也是如此。

Joey delivered an impressive performance in the U13 category, powering through an excellent swim, riding at an average speed of 32 km/h, and finishing his run strongly.

陈同学在U13组别中表现抢眼，游泳出色，自行车阶段平均时速达32公里，并以强劲的跑步完赛。

Daren showed outstanding form in the U11 group, emerging first from the water, leading on the bike, and battling through a thrilling, neck-and-neck finish. Although narrowly edged out at the line, he proudly secured a second-place podium finish.

方同学在U11组别中展现了极佳的状态，游泳率先出水，自行车领先，并在跑步阶段上演了一场惊心动魄、不相上下的冲刺。尽管在终点线前以微弱差距被超越，他仍自豪地登上了亚军领奖台。

It was an incredible achievement for both boys and a proud moment for the entire Sea Dragons Triathlon Team.

这对两位小将而言是了不起的成就，也是整个海龙铁人三项队的骄傲时刻。

On Sunday the 23rd, the excitement continued as the team’s head coach, Mr. Sheeran, took on the adult triathlon event. He delivered an outstanding performance, earning a well-deserved third-place podium finish—another proud moment for the entire Sea Dragons team.

23日周日，激动人心的比赛继续上演，运动队主教练Sheeran老师参加了成人组铁人三项赛事。他发挥出色，赢得了当之无愧的季军——这是海龙队又一个骄傲的时刻。

A special thanks goes to Mr. Quan, our assistant coach and photographer, who supported the boys tirelessly throughout the weekend and captured many memorable moments.
