Last Friday, CISH was filled with festive spirit as our Primary Years Programme students presented an outstanding winter musical, The Nutcracker and the Crystal Star. The performance showcased the remarkable talents of our young learners through singing, acting, and dancing, reflecting weeks of dedication, collaboration, and hard work from both students and teachers. The musical not only highlighted artistic skills but also demonstrated confidence, teamwork, and creativity, leaving the audience inspired and proud.
Special shoutout to our PYP Music Teacher, Ms.Snow Boudreau, and PYP Drama Lead, Ms.Camila Kemeny, and all PYP teachers and leaders.
上周五，小学部的学生们为社群全员献上了一场精彩的冬季音乐剧《胡桃夹子与水晶星》，让整个校园充满了节日气氛。这次演出学生们通过唱歌、表演和舞蹈展示了他们的非凡才能，也反映了几周以来学生和老师们的辛勤付出，训练与彩排。这部音乐剧不仅突出了学生们的艺术技巧，还展示了他们的自信、团队凝聚力和创造力，让在场观众感到鼓舞和自豪。
在此我们特别向PYP的音乐老师Snow Boudreau女士和小学部戏剧主任Camila Kemeny女士以及所有PYP的老师和领导们致敬。
Following the enchanting performance, the celebrations continued with our annual Winter Market, warmly organized by the German Department in collaboration with the Parent Association. The market brought together our school community in a joyful and welcoming atmosphere. Families enjoyed a wide variety of foods, with the parent-led potluck being a particular highlight, offering homemade dishes from diverse cultures.
In addition to the delicious food, the Winter Market featured booths showcasing handmade crafts and activities, many of which supported charitable organizations, such as the Masked Angels, who support local children and their families in their fight against Cancer. On top of all the excitements, our Parent Association also raised over 10,000 RMB across Potluck and crafts, the Winter Market refreshments and second-hand uniforms donation. This meaningful element reinforced our school’s commitment to compassion, service, and global citizenship, allowing students and families to give back while celebrating the season.

在精彩的音乐会表演之后，庆祝活动继续进行，校内一年一度的冬日集市，由德国部与家委会联袂合作组织。整个集市让全校师生在欢乐和温暖的气氛中聚集在一起。家长和孩子们享受了各式美食，家委会主导的百乐餐是一个特别的亮点，提供了来自不同文化的自制菜肴。
除了美味的食物外，集市还设有手工工艺品和活动的摊位，其中许多活动都支持慈善事业，如在场的蒙面天使摊位，他们支持当地那些与癌症作斗争的儿童及其家人。除此之外，家委会还通过百乐餐、手工艺品、冬市茶点、二手校服捐赠等活动筹集了超过10000元人民币的善款。这个有意义的元素加强了我们学校对互相关怀、社群服务和全球公民的承诺，让学生和家庭在庆祝节日的同时回馈社会。
