来OCIS，体验冬天里的专属温暖！——室内游乐场启动仪式精彩回顾

北国冬季，冰雪锁住了孩子们户外奔跑的脚步。但在OCIS，这个冬天将大不一样——小学部崭新的室内游乐场正式落成，成为寒冷季节里一抹温暖的亮色。

Winter in the North, where ice and snow confine the steps of children's outdoor play. But at OCIS, this winter is different — the brand-new indoor play center for the elementary school has been officially completed, becoming a warm splash of color in the cold season.

过去，每逢冰雪天气，学生们的活动空间被迫局限于教室。但是我们都知道，持续的运动与探索体验对学生成长的重要性。为此，学校决定专为小学部打造室内游乐中心，让孩子们在冬季也能享受趣味与活力。

In the past, whenever snow and ice arrived, students' activity spaces were limited to classrooms. But we all understand the importance of ongoing movement and exploratory experiences for student growth. For this reason, the school decided to create a dedicated indoor play center for the elementary school, allowing children to enjoy fun and vitality even during winter.

特别值得一提的是，这是学校首次号召家长捐赠支持学校建设项目。倡议发出后，家长积极响应，捐赠1000元及以上的家庭，其姓名被铭刻于捐赠荣誉墙；所有捐款家庭，无论数额大小，均收到学校精心准备的鸣谢证书。

It is especially worth mentioning that this was the school's first call for parent donations to support a school construction project. After the initiative was launched, parents responded enthusiastically. Families donating ¥1,000 or more had their names engraved on the Donor Honor Wall; all donating families, regardless of the amount, received a carefully prepared certificate of appreciation from the school.

G5学生杨译翔（Ethan）的父亲杨先生作为捐赠家庭代表发言。他表示，自孩子入学以来，家长们欣喜地看到他们一点一滴的转变与成长，由衷感谢学校的用心培养。因此，所有OCIS家长都与学校秉持着共同的信念：“一切为了孩子”。只要有益于孩子们健康成长，家长们必将义不容辞、全力支持。

最后，他向全体OCIS学子送上美好祝愿：“愿OCIS的每一个孩子天天快乐、越来越好、绽放光彩！”

Mr. Yang, parent of G5 student Ethan Yang, delivered a speech on behalf of the donating families.He mentioned how heartening it has been for parents to witness every bit of transformation and growth in their children since they joined OCIS, and he extended sincere gratitude to the school for its dedicated nurturing. He expressed that all OCIS parents share the same belief as the school: "All for our children."“Whenever it benefits the healthy development of our children, parents will always step forward without hesitation,” Mr. Yang emphasized.

He concluded with warm wishes for all OCIS students: "May every child at OCIS enjoy happiness every day and continue to thrive and shine."

Today, the indoor play center was officially opened. Principal Robert specially invited representative donor parents to cut the ribbon together and delivered a speech thanking parents for their tremendous support.

Teacher Demi demonstrated and explained the usage rules and precautions in detail for the students.

剪彩仪式后，孩子们如欢快的小鸟涌入这个新天地。在这里，冰雪不再限制童真的探索，寒冬也挡不住成长的脚步。

After the ribbon-cutting, children rushed into this new world like joyful little birds. Here, ice and snow no longer limit innocent exploration, and the harsh winter cannot hinder the footsteps of growth.

这座游乐中心不仅拓展了孩子们的活动空间，更架起了家校沟通的桥梁。冬天还长，但OCIS校的孩子们，已经拥有了属于自己的春天。
