The CISH Maple Dragons kicked off the first week back from the winter holiday with full energy and enthusiasm, and the campus is once again alive with laughter and joy! Join us in celebrating the start of 2026 and discover all that has happened this week!
Book Reading Celebration
The CISH Grade 2 team organized a special book reading celebration to mark the publication of our students' third volume of Wild Wonders. We were delighted to invite parents to join us on-site for this memorable event, where they had the opportunity to hear the students read aloud and share in the joy of reading together at our library.
CISH ASA Exhibition
On Wednesday, we hosted our first external ASA exhibition, inviting all of our After School Activities collaborators to campus to showcase their offerings and provide students from across grade levels with the opportunity to explore a variety of activities. These included baseball, basketball, soccer, golf, badminton, chess, drumming, fencing, swimming, jiu jitsu, ballet, science, space exploration, and taiqi. In addition, we partner with Nova Learn and The Duke of Edinburgh’s to ensure a holistic experience for our students. At CISH, we take pride in the exclusive partnerships we have with our community collaborators, which help our Maple Dragons broaden their horizons and discover new interests right here on campus.
Giving Hearts Initiative
CISH is excited to organize the Giving Hearts school-wide activity, where our students have the chance to choose and donate gifts to students of Chunyu School, a Special Education Needs (SEN) school. This initiative aims to raise awareness of special needs and abilities, while encouraging our community to connect and contribute. As a leading international school in the region, CISH takes pride in our social responsibility and is thrilled to host this event once again. It's an opportunity for our students to not only share kindness but also learn the power of giving through action.
MYP Student Achievement in Percentages
CISH celebrated the achievements of our Grade 6 students as they wrapped up their learning journey on Percentages. They did an outstanding job reflecting on and summarizing their understanding of the unit covered in the MYP courses. To showcase their knowledge, each student created their own poster, blending their grasp of the material with a touch of festive spirit by incorporating holiday themes into their designs.
