G5 Venus Class
Over the past few weeks, the Grade 5 Venus Class has been very busy and hardworking. Five of our boys proudly represented the class in the Battle of the Books competition, showing great teamwork and strong reading skills. Students also enjoyed visiting the school book fair, where they explored new stories and developed their love for reading. The class took part in the spelling bee competition and did an excellent job challenging themselves with new words. To celebrate the end of the semester, students went on a fun and educational field trip to the Bai E Tan Art Center. Last week, the class successfully completed their Wonder Skills final exams and finished the Wonder Skills curriculum for the semester, ending this term with a strong sense of achievement. Next semester, students will continue to build their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills through new units, projects, and engaging classroom activities.
G5 Mars Class
In our Grade 5 Mars class, we've embarked on an exciting learning journey exploring how individuals can use their gifts to make a difference. We began with the story "Room to Grow," which highlighted community spirit as a family helped build a neighborhood garden. Next, "Mary Anderson's Great Invention" showed us how innovative ideas can solve problems and improve lives. Finally, "Amazing Talents" introduced us to child prodigies like Terrence Tao, Mozart, and Bobby Fischer, demonstrating the incredible potential within every person. Inspired by these stories, our students wrote creative pieces about their own talents, proving that each of them has unique abilities and the power to create a positive future.
G5 Saturn Class
Our Grade 5 students have been busy over the past few weeks with the conclusion of the Wonders curriculum. The book fair events wrapped up on a high note, with the Battle of the Books competition seeing the students demonstrate impressive teamwork and deep literary understanding. What’s more, they collaborated to create a charming class book titled 'A Class Pet Adventure', a project they are all very proud of. They also stepped up to the challenge of the school spelling bee, showcasing sharp focus and solid vocabulary skills. We’re thrilled by their dedication and achievements, and we look forward to carrying this positive enthusiasm and momentum into the next semester.
