Students demonstrated their geometric knowledge by synthesising their understanding of 0-D, 1-D, and 2-D concepts to construct 3-D shapes that represent specific emotions. Concurrently, children showcased their developing literacy skills by independently authoring narratives, following a structured process of titling, visualisation, and creative writing.

Students used their knowledge of patterns learned in class to identify the rule in shape, colour, picture, and number patterns. They also completed their acrostic poems and practised reading them aloud with confidence.

Throughout this unit, students have been learning about sound in the classroom. In their most recent activities, they moved beyond the classroom to explore how sound travels in the real world. By making paper cup telephones, they discovered how sound can travel through both solids and gases.

Students have been demonstrating their knowledge of what they have learnt this week through their creations.  Students have completed their cereal boxes, demonstrating what they have learnt about creating visual adverts, and also largely completed their video games, using their knowledge of coding to help them.

G3-G6 applied their understanding of Chinese musical traditions to their New Year performances, while G1-G2 synthesized their "How We Express Ourselves" learning into final exhibition projects, clearly articulating concepts through creative presentation.

This week, students refined their abstract paintings and used paper weaving to mimic digital pixel effects. Their work embodies “Knowledgeable Demonstration”—where craft meets code—making thinking visible and deepening understanding through material exploration.

Students demonstrated their learning through hands-on coding activities using Kodable, Scratch, Logo Turtle, and micro:bit. They created digital stories, programmed moving sprites and score systems, designed shapes through precise commands, and coded a beating heart. Across the week, students confidently explained their thinking and applied new skills in practical tasks, showcasing strong knowledgeable demonstrations.

Ms. Carol: Grade 3 students focused on consolidating their Chinese language skills in preparation for the end-of-term assessment. Through reviewing the examination paper, they systematically identified and addressed gaps in their understanding, reinforcing key concepts and textual comprehension. This structured approach to revision enabled them to develop effective self-assessment habits and improve their ability to apply learned knowledge in practical contexts.

Ms. Nicky： With the exhibition approaching, the students are actively engaged in integrating the knowledge structure acquired in Mandarin classes with the thematic essence of the current unit. Through collaboration, they have defined the exhibition's thematic focus and formulated a concrete implementation plan based on this consolidated foundation.

Ms. Carol: Grade 1 students explored symmetrical shapes. They learned to identify axisymmetric figures in everyday objects and confidently articulated the concept of symmetry using precise mathematical language. Through hands-on activities such as paper folding, students demonstrated a clear understanding of symmetry by creating and analysing their own symmetrical designs, showcasing both conceptual grasp and practical application.

Ms. Leaf: The derivation process for the area of polygons in fifth grade is itself a classic Knowledgeable Demonstration. It takes a complex, unknown problem and—through strategies like partitioning and transformation—systematically deconstructs and reduces it to basic known models such as triangles. This not only yields a practical formula but also fully "demonstrates" how to use existing knowledge to explore and solve new problems, turning core mathematical thinking into visible, actionable steps.
