In the recently concluded VEX IQ Robotics Regional Championship, students from Sias International School (Sias IS) made a remarkable debut. Demonstrating excellent engineering design and teamwork, they secured second place in the Teamwork Challenge and were honored with the Innovation Award, successfully advancing to the 2026 VEX IQ National Robotics Championship! This achievement is a vivid testament to our school's comprehensive commitment to holistic education and active expansion of high-quality competitive platforms.

VEX IQ是一项面向小学生与初中生的国际机器人赛事，旨在通过趣味性的年度主题挑战，激发学生在科学、技术、工程和数学（STEM）领域的兴趣。学生需要全程参与机器人的设计、搭建、编程与测试，在解决实际问题的过程中，锻炼批判性思维、团队协作、工程设计与计算机编程等综合能力。
VEX IQ is an international robotics competition for elementary and middle school students, designed to ignite students' interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through engaging annual themed challenges. Students are involved in the entire process of robot design, building, programming, and testing, honing comprehensive skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, engineering design, and computer programming while solving practical problems.

本次区域赛以“Mix & Match”为主题，汇聚了来自多所学校的精锐队伍。西亚斯外籍学校两支战队——“Breakfast”（MYP3 Kofi, Orion, MYP2 Apple）与“LDSJC”（MYP1 Chloe, MYP2 Daniel, Shawn, Luke, Jerry）在比赛中展现了超凡的默契与实力。
This regional competition, themed "Mix & Match," brought together elite teams from numerous schools. Two teams from Sias IS – "Breakfast" (MYP3 Kofi, Orion, MYP2 Apple) and "LDSJC" (MYP1 Chloe; MYP2 Daniel, Shawn, Luke, Jerry) – showcased exceptional teamwork and skill throughout the tournament.

During the elimination rounds, our two teams joined forces, collaborating seamlessly. Through stable performance and clever strategy in the timed matches, they ultimately earned the title of Regional Runner-Up.

基于整个赛程的优异表现，我校一支队伍成功取得了参加2026年2月6日至7日于上海举办的国家级锦标赛的资格。届时，他们将与全国42支顶尖队伍同台竞技，延续荣耀之旅。
Based on their outstanding performance throughout the competition, one of our teams has successfully qualified for the National Championship, to be held in Shanghai from February 6th to 7th, 2026. There, they will compete against 42 other top national teams, continuing their journey of glory.
