Maple Dragons Share Kindness and Celebrate Achievements!

PYP Pink Shirt (Kindness) Day

The Pink Shirt Day was inspired by a school in Canada where students got together and wore pink shirts in support of a student who had been bullied. This event inspired a charity organization called the CKNW Kids’ Fund. The organization was founded to support anti-bullying programs, and with nearly 180 countries joining the action and sharing their support for Pink Shirt Day.

Cultivating a supportive, friendly, and caring environment is important for our community here at CISH. This year, CISH chose the theme of “Sprinkle Kindness” to help spread that message. Our PYP students dressed in pink to support the meaning and gesture behind the kindness movement. We are happy to see how this activity served as an important reminder that kindness grows when it is shared. CISH Shares Kindness!

MYP Personal Project

CISH MYP personal project exhibition took place on Thursday, with students showcasing their chosen topic with the UN Sustainable Development Goals behind. There were 32 students who presented different personal projects.  The exhibition reflected the effort that CISH students have put in throughout their years in MYP. The project entailed forming ideas, collecting data through research, and putting the outcomes together as a presentation to explain their line of thought to the community. What an excellent achievement!  Well done Maple Dragons!

粉色衣服日起源于加拿大的一所学校，校内学生们组织穿粉色衣服来支持一位被霸凌的同学。这项举措启发了一所名为 CKNW Kids’ Fund的慈善机构，此机构创立初衷亦是为了支持反霸凌相关的项目，历年来已有将近180个不同的国家参与了此项行动并通过举办粉色衣服日来以示支持。

培养并维护一个相互支持，友好以及关怀的环境对于 CISH社群至关重要，今年 CISH选择“洒下善意”此主题来参与并支持此活动。我们幼儿园及小学部的学生们身着粉色衣裤来表达此项善举背后的意义和带来的影响。我们非常开心能通过此次活动提醒大家善意通过分享的形式能传递的更宽更远。在 CISH我们散播善意！

MYP Personal Project

CISH初中部个人项目成果展于本周四在校内成功举办！32名初中学生通过自己选择的主题，并结合联合国发布的可持续发展目标来完成个人的项目。此次成果展体现了学生们本学年至此在初中部所付出的努力。整场展览展现了学生们从项目最初的收集想法阶段，到通过调研收集数据，并将所得成果整理成报告的形式，最后向学校的社群成员们分享他们的心路历程。这是多么出色的成果啊！好样的，枫叶龙！
