CISH Early Years in Action: Fire Department Visit
As part of our ongoing commitment to authentic, inquiry-based learning in the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), students engaged in a hands-on learning experience through a visit from the local fire department. This real-world connection deepened students’ understanding of community roles, materials, safety, and responsibility.

Our youngest learners explored fire trucks through observation, exploration, and guided discussion to build vocabulary and develop curiosity.

K1 students explored the structure and function of fire trucks through hands-on investigation of the different parts of the fire truck, and examination of the tyres and patterns.
