In the AMC 8 American Mathematics Competition, Sarah won the Global Excellence Award (TOP 5%) and claimed the first place in our school, leading the way with remarkable strength.

Albert, Cynthia and Joy all ranked among the global top 10%. The 10-year-old Albert Zhou also won the Global Primary School Honor Award, revealing his mathematical talent at a young age with a promising future ahead.

In the UKMT-IMC (Intermediate), Sarah  reached new heights, winning the Global Gold Award and the Best in Grade, standing at the top among tens of thousands of participants worldwide.

These achievements reflect the students’ solid mathematical foundation and the accumulation of core competencies such as logical reasoning, problem decomposition and high-order thinking—the very focus of the mathematics and science curriculum at Sendelta International Junior High.

We have developed a progressive math and science curriculum with a step-by-step learning path to steadily enhance every child’s mathematical abilities. We also hold special academic events like Pi Day, allowing junior high students to explore the essence of math through fun interactions, ignite their interest in exploration, and improve their competencies through practice.

At the 2026 TOC Asia Kiko Youth Forensics Open, Vita won the First Prize in Impromptu Debate by virtue of her excellent on-the-spot adaptability and logical construction skills, advancing triumphantly through each round.

Albert, who made his mark in math competitions, excelled in both liberal arts and sciences, winning the Third Prize in Impromptu Debate. He analyzed topics calmly, expressed himself boldly and refuted with logic on the debate stage, showing the outstanding critical thinking of young students.

Impromptu debate is never just about "being able to speak"; it is a comprehensive competition of quick response, logical construction and extemporaneous rebuttal. The students’ calm performance on the international stage stems from Sendelta’s systematic critical thinking training and immersive English learning environment.

Tailored to the cognitive development of junior high students, we have built a humanities and social sciences curriculum focused on thinking improvement. It enables students to develop core abilities of information extraction, integration and output while accumulating knowledge. In addition, Sendelta’s Research and Innovation Center offers weekly ECA debate courses for junior high students, which not only teach core skills of English debate but also focus on cultivating students’ systematic and critical thinking.

In the Junior Division - Standard Level of the 2026 International Economics Olympiad (IEO) China Preliminary Round, Sarah excelled through every stage and claimed the Individual Gold Award (Top 10% globally), thanks to her exceptional dedication to economics learning, outstanding data analysis capabilities and remarkable academic proficiency, fully demonstrating her all-round academic strength.

The International Economics Olympiad (IEO) is a world-renowned high-level academic competition in economics. Guided jointly by internationally recognized academic institutions and economics experts, it attracts outstanding students from more than 50 countries and regions around the world to participate.

To support students in steady improvement in economics competitions such as the IEO, the Sendelta Research and Innovation Center has launched the IEO Competition Course, taught by a senior economics competition instructor with a master's degree in Finance from University College London (UCL). From consolidating the economic and financial knowledge system, to enhancing practical problem-solving abilities, and polishing English language expression, the course provides all-dimensional support for participating students.

The team of Michelle, Joy and Sarah stood out at the CTB Global Youth Research and Innovation Forum with their research project Dynamic Wetlands: For Climate-Resilient Migratory Birds, winning the Second Class Honor at the National Forum.

CTB Global Youth Research and Innovation Forum is a top-tier research competition for teenagers worldwide, centered on interdisciplinarity, inquiry and teamwork. It focuses on assessing students’ problem-solving and innovative thinking abilities, and its results serve as an important reference for prestigious domestic and international universities in selecting outstanding students, boasting high gold content.

From topic selection and research analysis to team division of labor and achievement output, the students learned to cooperate, explore and solve problems through the complete scientific research process. This interdisciplinary research literacy and teamwork awareness are important capabilities for their further study and life in the future.

In the World Scholar’s Cup Tournament of Champions at Yale University, Chloe from Sendelta Junior High competed fiercely and won the Global Silver Medal in the Junior Division. Her outstanding academic caliber and well-rounded abilities showcased the international vision of Sendelta’s young learners.

The World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) is an international academic competition initiated and supported by Yale University, known as the “Olympics of academics.” Each year, around 60,000 students from over 70 countries and 140 cities gather for this prestigious academic event.

From English-only competitions to interdisciplinary intellectual challenges, Chloe completed an impressive academic journey at the World Scholar’s Cup. The academic foundation and comprehensive capabilities gained on this global stage will serve as important confidence for her future pursuit of higher academic achievements.
