Sports Exchange with

Sister School

On 24 March, 2026, with the invitation of a sister school in Hong Kong, Fanling Kau Yan College, our ASJ(Dongguan) students approached to the North District Sports Ground for participating in its Sports Day. In the early morning, eight students from both junior and senior forms, accompanied by our Executive Principal, Mr. Samuel KAM, departed from the campus to the destination. Students prepared well with their sports gear.

2026年3月24日，应香港姊妹学校粉岭救恩书院的邀请，我校学生前往北区运动场参与该校运动会。清晨，由我校执行校长金礼贤先生带队，八名来自初高中部的学生从校园出发前往目的地。学生们都带齐了运动装备，做好了充分准备。

Before the races, Principal Veronica YAU, the Principal of Fanling Kau Yan College, especially prepared lunchboxes for our students who were allocated at a VIP room. Students from our sister school were arranged to have a sharing and chit-chat time with our students who all discussed about the matters of their daily school life, such as the curriculum, extra-curricular activities and dormitory arrangements.

比赛开始前，粉岭救恩书院校长邱洁莹女士特意为我校学生准备了午餐盒饭，并安排他们在贵宾室用餐。姊妹学校的学生与我校学生进行了交流畅谈，大家围绕日常校园生活的话题展开了讨论，包括课程设置、课外活动以及宿舍安排等内容。

The 4x100 meter relay races of both girls’ and boys’ teams were conducted after lunch. Though the girls were from different forms and did not have too much chances to practice running at school daily, they had tried their very best. They kept cheering up each other and their hard effort has already been recognized by our school.

午饭后，女子组和男子组分别进行了4x100米接力赛。虽然女队员们来自不同年级，平时在校内也较少有机会进行接力训练，但她们都全力以赴。队员们互相加油打气，她们的努力拼搏精神已经获得了学校的肯定。

There were altogether seven boys’ teams from different schools in Hong Kong and our school team was one of them. The teams joining the 4x100 meter relay races are of athlete teams which do have ample experiences of taking part in races. Though our ASJ(Dongguan) boys are not the athlete team members, they did run very fast and could finish the whole race in 50 seconds. Their courage and determination is highly appreciated. Students at the sports ground on that day all had an enjoyable time.

男子组共有七支来自香港不同学校的队伍参赛，我校代表队是其中之一。参加4x100米接力赛的各支队伍均为运动员队伍，拥有丰富的参赛经验。虽然我校男子队员并非专业运动员，但依然跑出了极快的速度，最终以50秒的成绩完成了整场比赛。他们的勇气与决心赢得了高度赞赏。当天在场的所有学生都度过了愉快的时光。

ASJ(Dongguan) has a pleasant relationship with sister schools in both Hong Kong and Macao. With the close connection and cultural exchange activities arranged, students can learn with fun and benefit a lot.

东莞暨大港澳子弟学校与香港、澳门的各姊妹学校保持着良好的校际关系。通过紧密的联系及文化交流活动，学生们在快乐中学习，收获良多。
