Visit of Delegates from the Ninth Meeting of the China-Canada

At noon on April 15, 2026, delegates attending the 9th China–Canada Track II Dialogue—jointly organized by the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs and the China Institute of the University of Alberta—visited our school.

The delegation was led by Mr. Wu Ken, President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, and Professor Ouyang Fei, Director of the China Institute at the University of Alberta. They were warmly received by the school’s Executive Director, Ms. Du Juan, and Head of School, Mr. David Swanson, along with other members of the leadership team.

During the visit, the delegation toured several key facilities on campus, including the Plant Room, the Gymnasium and the science laboratories. They also enjoyed a live performance of the string ensemble piece Minuet No. 3 by our students and engaged in face-to-face conversations with a group of Canadian student representatives.

2026年4月15日中午，中国人民外交学会与加拿大阿尔伯塔大学中国学院共同举办的中加二轨对话第九次会议与会代表莅临我校参访。外交学会会长吴恳和阿尔伯塔大学中国学院院长欧阳飞分别率团莅临观摩，学校执行董事杜娟、总校长David Swanson等校领导参与接待。

代表团一行先后走进了学校生态厅、体育馆、理化生实验室等场馆，现场观赏学生弦乐重奏《Minuet No.3》，与部分加拿大籍学生代表进行面对面交流。
