Nurturing Confident Risk-Takers at CISH Early Years｜CISH培养自信的小小冒险家

Recently, CISH Early Years organized a series of meaningful and educational field trips for our youngest Maple Dragons, one of which was an exciting ice-skating activity.

近期，合肥加拿大外籍人员子女学校幼儿园校区为我们的小“枫叶龙”们组织了一系列有意义且富有教育意义的实地考察活动，其中一项是令学生和老师们无比激动的滑冰活动。

The purpose of this experience was to provide students with opportunities to learn beyond the classroom while exploring boundaries. Questions such as, “Can my body balance when I’m wearing skates?” “How should my hands move when I’m on the ice?” and “How do I warm up before doing this?” encouraged students to think, inquire, and challenge themselves. We were thrilled to see how our students approached this activity with the IB Learner Profile in mind. They were true Risk-Takers!

此系列活动的目的是让学生们有机会走出课堂，探索未知领域。比如“我穿上滑冰鞋后身体能保持平衡吗？”、“我在冰面上时双手该如何移动？”以及“做这个运动前我该如何热身？”等一系列问题来激发学生们思考、提问和挑战自我的欲望。我们非常高兴地看到学生们在遵循 IB 学习者特征的前提下，以积极的态度参与这项活动。他们是真正的冒险家！
