继 2025 年 4 月荣获 COBIS（英国国际学校理事会）认证后，时隔一年，哈罗海口再迎重磅喜讯！

2026 年 5 月，学校正式获得美国西部学校与学院教育联盟（Western Association of Schools and Colleges，简称 WASC）K-12 全阶段完整认证！

自此，哈罗海口正式成为中国第 4 所同时斩获 COBIS+WASC 双认证的国际化学校，手握国际教育领域含金量极高的 “顶级认证组合”，稳居全国一流国际校行列，更成为海南自贸港国际教育的标杆典范。

美国西部学校与学院协会院校认证委员会（WASC），是美国六大地区性认证机构之一，也是全美最具公信力的区域性教育认证机构，与美国国务院海外学校办公室深度合作。

Following the attainment of COBIS (Council of British International Schools) accreditation in April 2025, Harrow Haikou celebrates another landmark achievement one year on:

In May 2026, the school was officially awarded full K-12 accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

With this milestone, Harrow Haikou has become the 4th internationalised school in China to hold both COBIS and WASC accreditations, a prestigious dual accreditation combination in international education. The school now stands firmly among China’s top-tier international schools and has solidified its position as a benchmark for international education in the Hainan Free Trade Port.

What is WASC Accreditation?

The Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is one of the six regional accrediting agencies in the United States and one of America’s most trusted regional education accreditation bodies. It works closely with the Office of Overseas Schools under the U.S. Department of State.

WASC supports schools in more than 100 countries and regions worldwide, covering California, Hawaii, Guam, Asia, the Pacific Region, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. It is renowned for its rigorous evaluation criteria, comprehensive multi-dimensional review, and ongoing quality monitoring.

WASC accreditation represents full recognition of a school’s educational quality, curriculum framework, academic management, and student support systems. It also serves as an authoritative endorsement to global parents and universities, confirming that the school continuously upholds the highest international standards to deliver sustainable, high-quality education.

WASC accreditation offers significant benefits to students at Harrow Haikou. The primary benefit is that graduates gain extra recognition when applying to American universities and colleges, on top of the existing recognition of their A Level results. Additionally, the Harrow Diploma is recognised as a credible and valuable measure of holistic student development.

Accreditation and quality assurance systems including WASC, COBIS, and twice annual visits from AISL Harrow and Harrow London, ensure that Harrow Haikou staff remain focused on continuous improvement for students and the wider community.
