Mr Holt

科学学科副主任及职业发展协调员

Mr Holt 是一位经验丰富的物理教师,拥有15年的国际教学经验,曾在新西兰和中国的学校任教。在加入佛山霍利斯之前,他曾在深圳一所知名的国际学校担任科学学科副主任及职业发展协调员。他的领导风格以培养年轻教师、促进协作环境和建立成长型思维为特点。在他的职业生涯中,Mr Holt在开发和实施创新教育项目、指导员工和帮助学生成长方面发挥了重要作用。

Mr Holt 拥有格拉斯哥大学的物理与天文学学士学位和物理学硕士学位,以及莫纳什大学的中学教育文凭。他目前正在开放大学攻读教育领导力硕士学位。

Ms Zhuo

物理老师

Ms Zhuo是佛山霍利斯的物理教师,致力于培养学生的求知欲和批判性思维。她的教学理念强调探究式学习,引导学生扎实掌握学科知识,并将科学原理应用于现实情境。
 Ms Zhuo拥有九年国际教学经验,曾在不同教学环境中教授预备部及中学部学生。加入佛山霍利斯前,她在一所优秀的国际学校任教,负责剑桥科学课程的教学工作。她精通剑桥和爱德思课程体系,对其评估与考试框架有着深刻理解。
 Ms Zhuo持有利兹大学教育学硕士学位,以及桑德兰大学的科学(物理学)教育研究生证书(PGCE),并拥有英国合格教师资格(QTS)。

Mr Duckworth

英语学科副主任及高潜力学生协调员

Mr Duckworth 是一位资深的英语教师,拥有超过20年的英国和中国国际学校的教学经验。在他丰富的教学经历中,他的职责涵盖了教授IGCSE和IBDP英语、开发课程以及支持有英语学习需求的学生。Mr Duckworth 还担任过多种领导职务,包括学习主任和英语协调员。他的教学理念强调创造一个支持性和高参与度的学习环境,致力于培养学生的求知欲和独立思考能力。

Mr Steven Banks

副校长;寄宿及学生关怀主任

Mr Banks 是佛山霍利斯的寄宿及学生关怀主任,拥有丰富的学校工作经验。他曾在英国一所学生担任学生关怀和安全负责人以及助理校长职位13年之久,他的资深领导经历涵盖了学生关怀的所有方面。在加入佛山霍利斯之前,他曾在泰国一所历史悠久的寄宿学校担任寄宿学校社区的主要负责人,这段经历进一步提升了他的专业技能。他在2022年8月加入佛山霍利斯,在他的领导下,佛山霍利斯的寄宿项目和社区在过去一年内蓬勃发展,蒸蒸日上。

Mr Richard Morgan

Mr Holt

Second in Science & CPD Coordinator

Mr Holt is an experienced physics educator with 15 years of international teaching experience in New Zealand and China. In his last position, he led the IGCSE Physics department at a renowned international school in Shenzhen. His leadership is characterised by a commitment to developing others, fostering a collaborative environment, and promoting a growth mindset. Throughout his career, Mr Holt has been instrumental in developing and implementing innovative educational programmes, mentoring staff, and driving student success.

Mr Holt holds a BSc in Physics and Astronomy and an MSc in Physics from Glasgow University, and a Diploma of Secondary Education from Monash University. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Education Leadership at the Open University.

Ms Zhuo

Teacher of Physics

As a Physics specialist, Ms Carrie Zhuo is committed to fostering intellectual curiosity and critical thinking. Her teaching philosophy emphasises inquiry-based learning, guiding students to develop subject mastery and apply scientific principles to real-world contexts.

With nine years of international teaching experience, she has taught both preparatory and secondary students across various settings. Before joining LEH, Ms Zhuo taught at an outstanding international school, delivering the Cambridge Science curriculum. She is well-versed in Cambridge and Edexcel courses, with a strong understanding of their assessment and examination frameworks.
 Ms Zhuo holds an MA degree in Education from the University of Leeds and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Science (Physics) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from the University of Sunderland.

Mr Duckworth

Second in English Department & High Potential Coordinator

Mr Duckworth is an accomplished English teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience in schools in the UK and international schools in China. In his extensive teaching experience, his responsibilities have ranged from teaching IGCSE and IBDP English, developing curricula, and supporting students with English language learning needs. Mr Duckworth has also held leadership roles, including Director of Studies and English Coordinator. His teaching philosophy emphasises creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and independent thought.

Mr Duckworth holds a Bachelor’s degree from Lancaster University, a PGCE from the University of Birmingham, and a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from Leicester University.

Deputy Head; Head of Boarding & Pastoral Care

Heading Boarding and Pastoral Care at LEH Foshan, Mr Banks brings a wealth of experience to our community. Formerly a Pastoral and Safeguarding Leader and Assistant Headteacher at a UK  school for 13 years, his senior leadership roles encompassed holistic student care. Before arrived at LEH Foshan, he was the key worker within the boarding school community in a well-established boarding school in Thailand, further enhancing his expertise. Joining LEH Foshan in August 2022, his leadership has propelled the boarding community to flourish and thrive over the past year.

Mr Richard Morgan

Head of Prep Boarding

Mr Morgan is a seasoned UK educator with over 12 years' experience, including roles in PE teaching and boarding leadership across UK local schools and international schools. As Head of Prep School Boarding, he will leverage his expertise to create a nurturing and engaging environment that develops both the physical and mental wellbeing of our younger boarders.

Ms Zhu, Mr Fitzpatrick and Ms Forrest enjoy their roles as House Parents. They create a nurturing space within boarding houses, offering guidance and emotional support, and fostering team spirit. As mentors, they empower students with essential life skills and values, aiding their journey to independence. Both House Parents are teachers who work throughout the academic day teaching LEH students the English Language. In the evening, they support boarding students with their study. Their commitment, knowledge and experience are vital components in ensuring students are academically supported. Their commitment enriches the holistic growth of each student, ensuring a well-rounded boarding experience that extends beyond academics. The House Parent is there to manage matters related to the health and wellbeing of every child who lives in the Boarding House.

As the Personal Assistant to the Head of Boarding, Ms Mo plays a pivotal role in overseeing the boarding program's smooth operation and facilitating effective communication between Mr Banks and the boarders’ parents.

Our matrons provide unwavering pastoral care and guidance to each boarder.
