西亚斯外籍学校特邀全球归属感与跨文化能力专家Dr. Derrick Gay来访并开展专业培训

4月27日，西亚斯外籍学校迎来全球知名归属感与跨文化能力专家Dr. Derrick Gay博士到校，开展为期一日的访问与培训工作，助力校园构建尊重人格、包容友善的校园共同体。上午，Dr. Gay为学校高层管理团队、成长提升委员会、学术领导团队及归属感建设委员会开展了时长 4 小时的专项培训，围绕归属感培育的前沿研究、行业趋势与实践策略展开讲解。

On April 27, Sias International School invited Dr. Derrick Gay, a world-renowned expert on Belonging and Intercultural Competency, for a one-day special visit and training to support fostering an inclusive school community grounded in dignity and respect. In the morning, Dr. Gay conducted a 4-hour training for the school’s Senior Leadership Team, Uplifting Committee, Academic Leadership Team and Belonging Committee, focusing on the key research, trends, and strategies of fostering belonging.

下午，Dr. Gay在学生大使陪同下参观校园，与学校高层管理团队开展深度座谈，并面向全体教职工分享归属感与跨文化能力相关研究成果。此次到访是学校推进归属感建设与跨文化能力培育的重要举措。后续Dr.Gay将依托专业研究成果，持续为我校相关工作提供指导，全力打造多元共融、包容和谐的校园环境，助力学生全面成长。

In the afternoon, Dr. Gay visited the campus with student ambassadors, held in-depth talks with members of the Senior Leadership Team, and shared research about belonging and intercultural competency with all staff. Dr. Gay’s visit is an important measure for the school to promote Belonging and intercultural competency, and he will continue to provide research-basde guidance on the school’s related work in the future, further creating an inclusive, diverse and integrated campus environment where students flourish.
