Celebrating Our Reception Graduates 

Last Friday, we proudly celebrated a special milestone at BSG as our Reception children graduated from the Early Years Foundation Stage.

This moment marked the end of an important chapter and the beginning of an exciting new journey.

A Year of Growth and Discovery

Over the past year, our young learners showed remarkable progress. Each day, they explored, questioned, created, and grew.

They developed essential skills as:

• Readers and writers
• Mathematicians
• Confident communicators
• Curious problem solvers

Just as importantly, they built the personal qualities that matter most. Confidence. Independence. Resilience. These will support them as they move into primary school.

Strong Foundations for the Future

The Early Years are a vital stage in every child’s development. What children learn here shapes how they approach learning for years to come.

Through play, exploration, and guided learning, our Reception children have:

• Met the expectations of the EYFS curriculum
• Developed a genuine love of learning
• Gained the skills needed for a smooth transition to Year 1

They leave this stage ready, capable, and excited for what comes next.
