Congratulations to Andy CHEUNG from Grade 12E, who has been offered a place in the Chemical and Biological Engineering programme at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) through the highly competitive School Nominations Direct Admission Scheme (SNDAS). This achievement reflects both Andy's outstanding academic ability and personal qualities, as well as our school’s unwavering commitment to nurturing excellence.

东莞暨大港澳子弟学校2026届DSE毕业生金榜题名！G12E班毕业生张瀚中同学成功通过极具竞争力的“学校推荐直接录取计划”（SNDAS），获得香港科技大学化学与生物工程专业录取资格。这不仅是他个人学术能力与综合素质的体现，更是学校长期致力于全人教育成果的有力印证。

Launched by the Hong Kong Education Bureau, SNDAS offers direct university admission to Form 6 students who demonstrate exceptional talent and passion in specific fields. Each local secondary school may nominate up to two candidates. With over 20 programmes available at HKUST for SNDAS applicants this year, the selection is rigorous and highly selective – making Andy’s offer a truly remarkable honour.

由香港特区政府教育局推出的“学校推荐直接录取计划”（SNDAS），专为在个别学科或范畴展现卓越才华及浓厚兴趣的中六学生提供直接升读本地大学的渠道。每所中学最多推荐两名学生，而今年香港科技大学SNDAS可申请课程逾20个，竞争极为激烈。能够脱颖而出，本身就是对学子品学兼优的最佳证明。

Andy CHEUNG from Grade 12E serves as the Class Monitor and the Discipline Department Head of the school's second Student Union. He has a solid academic foundation with outstanding overall performance and remarkable potential in science subjects: he was awarded the National Silver Award in the 2024 Canadian Chemistry Competition (Junior) and received a Merit Award in the 2025 British Biology Olympiad.

张瀚中同学就读东莞暨大港澳子弟学校12E班，并担任班长，同时担任学校第二届学生会纪律部部长。该生学业基础扎实，整体成绩优异，具备突出的理科学习潜力：于2024加拿大化学测评（初级）荣获全国银奖，2025英国生物奥林匹克竞赛斩获优秀奖。

Throughout his time at school, Andy has demonstrated strong sense of responsibility and excellent interpersonal skills, earning the respect and affection of both teachers and fellow students. He has long been involved in planning and coordinating various school-wide events, frequently served as event emcee, and actively participated in talent performances on stage. He possesses a well-rounded combination of organisational coordination, public expression, and comprehensive artistic abilities—a truly balanced and outstanding student.

在校期间他责任心强、人缘佳，深受师生喜爱。长期统筹策划校内各类大型活动，多次担任活动主持，并积极登台参与才艺表演，兼具组织协调、公开表达与综合艺术素养，是全面均衡发展的优秀学生。

In September 2024, ASJ (Dongguan) was officially approved as an“HKDSE Participating School” by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority – the first and only school in Dongguan, and the fourth in the Chinese Mainland, to receive this qualification. This means our graduates can sit the HKDSE exams as “school candidates” and even take the exams at the Greater Bay Area examination centres. 

2024年9月，东莞暨大港澳子弟学校正式获香港考试及评核局批准成为HKDSE“与考学校”——东莞首家且唯一、内地第四所获此资质的学校。这意味着从2025年起，我校毕业生可以“在校生”身份在大湾区考点参加DSE考试。

More importantly, as a Participating School, we are eligible to nominate students under SNDAS, allowing our students to receive firm offers from their dream universities before the DSE results are released – just as Andy did. This is a distinct advantage that sets our students apart on the path to higher education.

更重要的是，作为“与考学校”，我们具备推荐学生参与SNDAS的资格，让我们的学生在DSE成绩放榜之前就能获得心仪大学的正式录取——张瀚中同学正是这一优势的最佳例证。这是东莞ASJ学子独有的升学竞争力。
