上一周的周晨会上,校长Mr Clem Parrish向大家一一介绍了新生及新老师,并对他们加入莱克顿大家庭表示欢迎。学生会向大家介绍了由学生制作的学生会官方网站,包含了公告、教室预约服务等内容。新的一年开始了,新的一学期也开始了,莱克顿大家庭更加“枝繁叶茂”,新的征程让所有人充满期待。


本周的周晨会如约而至,却是以一场激烈的竞争拉开帷幕的。

The first Monday Assembly of this new term was started by a big warm welcome. Mr Headmaster, Clem Parrish introduced new students and teachers to the Lucton community. Then the students leadership team announced the launching of students website, which was designed and built by themselves. The website is operating with functions including bulletin board, classroom reservation and other school services. As the Lucton community is getting bigger and stronger, everyone is full of energy and passion and looking forward to another fantastic school term!


The Monday Assembly for this week was kicked off by an exciting House competition.

为学院而战

Fight for House

莱克顿设立四所学院的同时,制定了学院积分制。无论是个人积分还是学院积分,其代表的都是整个学院的荣誉。当个人荣辱和集体联系在一起,置身其中的每一个人,都能够深深的感受到作为学院一员的责任感和团队精神。学院之间的竞争,能够让大家为同一个目标努力,彼此学习、彼此协作。本次周晨会,学生会策划组织了学院竞赛,以积分为奖励。同学们、老师们情绪高涨,斗志昂扬,为学院荣誉而战。


剧院中,学生们高举院旗,赤狐、骑士、雄狮、晨星四所学院成员,依次就坐,气势却在“对峙”。这里像是没有硝烟的“战场”。

As the House System is a key component of a British style boarding ethos, students were allocated into one of the four houses since last December. Meanwhile, the house point system based around rewarding positive behaviours and achievements both as individual and as house, was fully operational. On this Monday Assembly, students leadership team conducted a inter-house competition, and the winner house could win a grand house points. Having a strong sense of community, all the students and teachers were actively involved and fought to win the game.


This Monday morning in the school theatre, students were separated by four houses, which are Lion, Fox, Star and Knight. You can tell the intense and exciting atmosphere filled the whole theatre.

在答题环节中,第一题:“莱克顿建校至今多少天?”,相近的选项十分具有迷惑性,四所学院仅有赤狐学院答对,他们答题团队中的创校师生起到了关键作用,同学校一起成长的时光,自然是点点滴滴都铭记在心。赤狐学院最终也以完美的表现,连赢两局,成为最终赢家。恭喜赤狐学院!

“How many days passed since the creation of the school?” There was a special question in the “Super Quiz” div. All the students and teachers tried to recall the school founding date, and the founding students and teachers in the Fox House got the right answer within the given time. Finally, Fox House won the whole competitions with their amazing performance. Congratulations!

为天赋喝彩

Celebrating the Talents

莱克顿设立的奖学金制度,着眼于全人教育理念,不单单追求学术卓越,也表彰在综合能力或其他各项能力上,表现突出的学生。本次周晨会上公布的四名新生所获得的奖学金,既有代表学术成绩优异的学术奖学金,也有代表运动、艺术领域的马术奖学金和音乐奖学金。

Lucton scholarships value and follow the school vision of Whole Person Education, and positively contribute the talent cultivation and further the development of education. They are awarded based upon various criteria of students, commending the remarkable achievements in academic and other specific fields. There were four new students joint Lucton as scholars this term, were invited onto the stage and introduced to the community during the assembly.

副校长杨勇先生为每一位奖学金获得者颁发了一条代表荣誉的领带,需在日常佩戴。莱克顿坚持贯彻全人教育理念,鼓励学生不单单追求学术卓越,也要发展运动、艺术、兴趣爱好、独立意识、精神、品格等全方面的综合能力。珍惜每一个学生的天赋和能力,莱克顿是这样说更是这样做的。设立不同类型的奖学金,就是因为学校相信,每一个孩子都是特别的,每一个孩子都有属于自己的天赋。

Deputy Head, Mr Alex Yang awarded the glory ties for each scholar that should be worn every day in school. We encourage students to pursue the better performance more than academically, but also in sports, arts, personal interests, independence, spirits, characters, etc. The school sets different types of scholarships, believing and cherishing the unique talents of each individual.

这是一个振奋人心的清晨,

开启了活力满满的一周。

学院竞赛虽然结束了,

但是彼此的竞争仍在无声地进行着。

获得奖学金的学生,

认真的给自己系上新领带

带着一点激动,带着一点忐忑。

当日的校园烟雨朦胧,春意正浓,

一切都在新生。

The whole new week is kicking off by such an inspiring morning.

As the Monday Assembly draw to a close, students gained a strong sense of community and honour.

Spring is a fresh start for the whole year, with the weather getting warmer and brighter.

It is pleased to see the Luctonians getting into another vibrant and busy week.
