SUIS 课堂 | IG1 “世界水日” 主题演讲

自1993年设立以来,世界水日(3月22日)一直致力于提高人们的认识,并激励人们采取行动解决水资源和卫生设施危机,即以行动解决全球22亿人无法获得安全用水的危机。

On 22nd March, we commemorate World Water Day. It was established in 1993 with the goal of raising awareness of the issues regarding the world's water resources. It is a good time to consider how we feel about this really important resource, which is genuinely in short supply for 2 billion people.


今年世界水日的主题是加速变革,解决水危机。水影响着我们生活的方方面面,正因如此,我们每个人都应该有所行动。在此契机之下,科学组教学团队在完成水主题知识的教学后,引导学生进一步关注全球水状况,展开一场“水”宣传活动,发挥自己的号召力和引导力。

This World Water Day is about accelerating change to solve the water crisis. And because water affects us all, we need everyone to take action. With this mission in mind, after completing the syllabus content on the topic of water, the teachers of the Science Department then guided the students to pay more attention to the global water situation, and launched a "water" publicity activity. In this way, we call for action.







我校IG1的学生们通过交流,根据每个人关注的主题之间的关联性,组成了小组,选择主题,进行主题的探究,设计主题框架,并将自己小组的探究成果进行展示,发出自己的倡议。

Through communication, IG1 students in our school formed groups according to the aspects in which each person is interested. Each group then chose and explored a topic, designed the topic framework, and displayed the results of their findings in their own group and proposed their own initiatives.


以下是关于每个小组演讲内容提纲的分享,水污染,水的重要性,水的使用,如何节水等等,足见学生们的研究功底。

Following are the contents they structured and presented in the class, such as water pollution, the importance of water, the usage of water, and how to value water. This is truely a demostration of the research skills of our students.

What can you do to save water?

小组演讲为全英文,并由同学们和老师们从四个维度进行打分。整场演讲体现的是学生们的研究能力,公众演讲能力,审美能力,互动能力以及更重要的协作能力。

The English presentation is scored by students and teachers in 4 criteria, which fully test their research, public speaking, aesthetic and interaction skills and most importantly their collaboration ability

在协和,我们注重培养学生们的国际思维和全球视野,引导学生成为全球公民。在本次研究分享之后,我们还将在六月,带领所有IG1学生深入水文水资源管理署,完成更进一步的校外学习和探究,敬请期待。

At SUIS, we focus on cultivating students' international mindedness and global perspective, and lead them to become international citizens. After the presentations of their findings, we will take all IG1 students to Shanghai Water Authority in Pudong in June to complete a further off-campus study and exploration.
