Congratulations to Annabelle and Lucas, our newly appointed Primary Head Students!

I am delighted to share with our school community the outcome of a rigorous selection process for our new Head Students.

Spanning over two weeks, this selection process has included letter-writing, public-speaking, a student vote, and individual interviews with myself, the Head of Primary.

Each of these steps allowed our Primary teaching team to identify candidates who not only strive for academic excellence across their learning, but who also demonstrate commendable leadership potential as creative, confident and considerate learners.

Please therefore join me in extending the warmest of congratulations to our new Head Students: Annabelle and Lucas!

Three areas I am excited about most:

1. Being a good role model through public speaking.

2. Listening to the thoughts and opinions of younger students.

3. Supporting with environmental improvements in school.

Three areas I am excited about most:

1. Developing my own confidence, and helping other students to develop their confidence.

2. Getting to know people from across our school.

3. Learning from other people from other countries and different backgrounds.

Reflecting on these shared experiences of the past two weeks, well done also to all of our students who participated in this application process. Every one of you showcased unique qualities and made valuable contributions to discussions.

Again, congratulations to Annabelle and Lucas; our Primary community looks forward to supporting each of you in your exciting new roles over the coming year!
