美丽莱克顿|德育余韵,感恩之行

11月23日,为践行莱克顿九大品德“责任心、尊重、同情心、和谐、正直、勇敢、谦逊、精进卓越、主动性”,由丰久光副校长,田思琪老师,和SLT学生会带队,带领莱克顿学子拜访上海闵行区金城护理院。在感恩节当日,驱散冬日的寒冷,为老人们送上温暖陪伴与关怀。

On November 23, in order to practice Lucton's nine virtues, Deputy Head of Holistic

 Mr.Feng, Teacher Tian, and SLT to visit Jincheng Nursing Home Shanghai. On Thanksgiving Day, to dispel the cold of winter and give warm companionship and care to the elderly.

下午两点,师生们抵达金城护理院,自今年3月莱克顿爱老公益项目启动以来,这已经是莱克顿人们的第三次探望拜访。


这次的探望不仅仅是一个简单的社交活动,更是他们积极参与社会公益,弘扬尊老爱幼的中华传统美德的实践。


走入护理院大门,温馨舒适的风格,宽敞明亮的房间,完善齐全的医疗设施能够让老人们在这里享受到无微不至的照顾。


莱克顿人在这里见证了金城护理院对老年人的尊重和关爱。当师生们看到老人们在积极康复训练,他们被老人们坚韧不拔的精神所感动,深深地理解到生命的可贵和生活的价值。而当他们走进老人们的房间,看到整洁有序的环境,他们更是感受到生活的尊严和质量。

At 2 p.m., students and teachers arrived for the third time since the Lucton Care for the Elderly program began in March. 


This visit is not only a simple social activity, but also a practice for them to actively participate in social welfare and promote the traditional Chinese virtues of respecting the old and caring for the young.


Walking into the door of the nursing home, warm and comfortable style, spacious and bright rooms, and complete medical facilities allow the elderly to enjoy meticulous care here. 


Luctonians are here to witness the respect and care that Jincheng Nursing Home has for the elderly. When the teachers and students saw the old people actively training in the rehabilitation center, they were moved by the old people's indomitable spirit, and deeply understood the value of life and the value of life. When they walk into the old people's rooms and see the clean and orderly environment, they feel the dignity and quality of life.

本次感恩节拜访活动,是由莱克顿学生会倾情策划。活动伊始,金城护理院和丰久光副校长发表了开幕致辞。为了本次拜访,莱克顿学子与老人们互相准备了节目,为对方献上了精彩的表演。

This Thanksgiving visit is planned by the SLT. At the beginning of the event, Jincheng Nursing Home and Mr.Feng delivered opening remarks. For this visit, Lucton students and the elderly prepared programs and put on wonderful performances for each other.

随即而来的互动环节,化开了冬日的寒冷与怯怯,将气氛带入了高潮。莱克顿学生们和老人们,共同学习救护与急救知识,以防不时之需,为社会贡献力量。学生与老人们手拉手,一起喊道“大手拉小手,一起向前走” ,互帮互助,携手前行。让我们享受当下,享受生活的每分每秒。

The interactive session that ensued lifted the cold and timidity of winter and brought the atmosphere to the top. Lucton students and the old people learned about rescue and first aid in case of emergency. Students and the old people held each other’s hands, together shouted "Hands in hands, go forward together". Let's enjoy the moment and enjoy every moment of life.

学生们同样没忘了行动不便的老人们,他们进入了房间,和一些卧病在床的老人们进行了深入交流。老人们都非常热情地欢迎我们,并向学生们讲述了他们的生活经历和故事。他们的经历让学生们深受感动,也让他们更加珍惜现在的生活。在交流中,学生们也了解到了老人们的诉求,大多希望和人们多交流,希望他们得到更多的社会重视和人们的关爱。

The students also did not forget the mobility of the elderly people, they entered the room, and had an in-depth communication some of the elderly people in bed. The old people welcomed them very warmly and told the students their life experiences and stories. The students were deeply moved by their experiences, which also made them appreciate their current life more. In the communication, the students also understood the demands of the old people, most of them hope to communicate with people more, hoping that they can get more social attention and people's care.

期间有着这样一段暖心的小插曲,一名莱克顿学生因为要回校集合,没能来得及道别,而写下的便条,他写道, “我们是莱克顿学校的高中生,我们来看望你们。我们这次先走了,下次再来!”。

In one heartwarming episode, a Lucton student wrote a note to say goodbye , as he wrote, "We are high school students at Lucton School Shanghai and we have come to see you. We are leaving this time but we will come back next time!".

许多温馨瞬间,都会成为莱克顿人记忆中的美好和品格的成长。家长代表王女士说道:“孩子们也深受触动,今天随机问了两个同学,他们都说感触很深,来之前都没想过自己的父母老了可能也会经历这样的瞬间,还说回去要多陪陪父母和长辈。对孩子们的感恩教育也达到了。真好!”。


这次的活动让莱克顿的学子们深刻理解了尊老的美德,并激发了他们更多参与社会公益的热情。他们认识到,社会应当更加关注和尊重老年人,注重他们的精神需求。莱克顿人的蜕变与成长,从现在开始,从自己做起,用实际行动去传递和弘扬。

Many warm moments will become the memory of Luctonians' beauty and character growth. Ms. Wang, the parent representative, said: "The children were also touched, and today I asked two students at random, they all said that they were deeply touched, and they did not think that their parents may experience such a moment when they are old, and they said that they should spend more time with their parents and elders." The education of gratitude to the children has also been achieved. How nice it is!".


This activity made Lucton students deeply understand the virtue of respecting the old, and inspired them to participate in more enthusiasm for social welfare. They recognize that society should pay more attention to and respect the elderly and pay attention to their spiritual needs. The transformation and growth of Luctonians started from now on, started from their own, with practical actions to pass and carry forward.
