Dear Luctonians:
The Christmas and New Year bell rings, we are approaching the last school day of the year, with Lucton Winter Party - Melody of Lucton and the lighting of the Christmas tree, to conclude this wonderful year. The exam board exams will be coming soon from January 3, 2024. The official last teaching day of this semester is February 2, 2024. And from February 3,2024 the winter vacation will start. This will be a valuable time to relax and replenish yourself.
Meanwhile, we are expecting students to return to our campus after the New Year break with a new and positive outlook. So from January 3 to February 2, 2024, there will be normal teaching and learning days. No students are allowed to be absent without acceptable reasons. Therefore, any unexcused absence will be recorded officially.
Our Year 13 students have already achieved impressive results this term and they are on the cusp of receiving pre-offer letters from Cambridge at the start of the New Year. At this important time, we have also made important plans for January in advance.
In January, Lucton School will put forward the Intensive Academic Supports for students within four stages. Our teachers need to enhance the academic improvements of relevant students. Any student who needs Intensive Academic Supports in January can come to the Academic Office directly.
