Shanghai MacDuffie School remains steadfast in its mission to carry out the basic task of fostering virtue through education and nurture a new generation of capable young people with sound moral grounding, intellectual ability, physical vigor, aesthetic sensibility, and work skills who will fully develop socialism and carry forward the socialist cause. On November 12th, under the unified organization of the school, student volunteers from Shanghai MacDuffie School visited a retirement home to bring joy and warmth to the grandparents.

养老院是爷爷奶奶们的家，这里洋溢着关怀与爱。怀着敬意与好奇，学生志愿者走进这个温馨的大家庭，感受他们的生活环境和这里独特的氛围。

The retirement home is a home for the grandparents, filled with care and love. With respect and curiosity, student volunteers entered this warm family environment to experience their living conditions and the unique atmosphere here.

参观养老院后，学生志愿者为老人们献上了精心准备的节目：

After touring the retirement home, the student volunteers presented carefully prepared performances for the elderly residents:

首先是11AL（A）金亿达同学带来的街舞《荷塘月色》，优美的音乐加上金同学欢快的舞步，让爷爷奶奶们忍俊不禁，并掏出手机录像，希望能将这份快乐永存下来。

The first performance was a dance to “Lotus Pond Moonlight” by Jin Yida from 11AL(A). The combination of beautiful music and Jin’s lively dance moves brought smiles to the grandparents’ faces, prompting them to take out their phones to record the moment, hoping to preserve this joy forever.

随后，祁松宇同学带来了歌曲《还是会想你》。思念是一种温暖而美好的情感，通过他的歌声，将这份情感传递给在场的每一位。

Following that, Qi Songyu performed the song “Still Missing You.” Longing is a warm and beautiful emotion; through his heartfelt singing, he conveyed this feeling to everyone present.

最后，11-AP宋金泽同学为大家带来了经典黑管独奏《一剪梅》。没有伴奏的表演中，黑管独特的音色完美诠释了这首经典作品，令人陶醉。

Finally, Song Jinze from 11-AP presented a classic clarinet solo, “Yi Jian Mei.” In this unaccompanied performance, the unique tone of the clarinet perfectly captured the essence of this timeless piece, leaving the audience deeply mesmerized.

每一个节目都饱含着学生志愿者对爷爷奶奶们深深的爱与祝福。希望学生志愿者的到来能为养老院增添更多的欢乐与活力，也衷心祝愿爷爷奶奶们健康长寿、幸福安康！

Each performance was filled with deep love and heartfelt blessings for the grandparents. Student volunteers hope that the visit brings more joy and vitality to the home, and they sincerely wish all the grandparents good health, longevity, and happiness!

这次随天立上海美达菲学生会来到青春里养老院，我们参观了各个区域并与亲切的爷爷奶奶们进行了交流与分享，并欣赏了学长学姐们带来精彩的带着我们的慰问与祝福的节目，我十分感动、由衷地感到温暖，我十分期待再次举办此类活动，并真心祝福爷爷奶奶们身体健康，事事顺心。

在这次走进养老院的活动过程，对我们以后的人生道路有着很大的影响，让我们知道了孤寡老人在没有儿女的陪伴是多么孤独，他们多么希望有人和他们聊天。

我第一次感受到敬老院的老人们是如此孤独、缺少陪伴，这样的活动能够让我们学会关心和帮助身边的老人。学生的主要任务是学习，但是我们以后还是要走向社会，现在我们享受着国家和父母提供的优渥条件，将来我们长大了回馈大人、回馈社会。
