2025年2月13日,上海宏润博源学校迎来了春季学期筹备的重要活动——为期一天的教师培训。此次培训旨在为全体教师提供专业发展的机会,同时激励教师们在新的学期里不断创新和提升教学质量。
On February 13, 2025, Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School held an important event for the preparation of the spring semester – a one-day teacher training. The training aimed to provide professional development opportunities for all teachers, while also inspiring them to continuously innovate and improve teaching quality in the new semester.
上午9点整,面向全体教职工的培训大会正式开始。首先,两位年轻的中教和一位外教分别分享了他们在宏润博源过去一年的工作经历与心得。通过回顾自己的教学旅程,他们谈到了如何与学生建立深厚的联系,以及在过程中收获的成长与反思。刘校长对三位教师的思考颇有感触,继而发表了主题为“教育学就是关系学”的讲话。作为在教育领域深耕近40年的资深从业者,刘校长用自己的亲身经历向年轻教师们传授了与学生建立深厚关系的重要性。她指出,教师不仅是知识的传授者,更是学生成长路上的引路人。
At 9:00 a.m., the training for all faculty members officially began. First, two young Chinese teachers and one foreign teacher shared their work experiences and insights from the past year at SHBS. Reflecting on their teaching journeys, they discussed how they had built deep connections with students and the growth and reflections they had gained along the way. Principal Liu was deeply moved by the teachers' thoughts and then delivered a speech on the theme "Education is about Relationships." As an educator with nearly 40 years of experience, Principal Liu shared her personal experiences, emphasizing the importance of building strong relationships with students. She pointed out that teachers are not only knowledge authorities but also mentors for students on their growth path.

In the following session, Ms. Ma discussed the explosive development of AI infrastructure during the Spring Festival and how the AI wave is transforming today's educational models. She also explored how educators can tackle with this challenge and leverage AI technology to improve teaching efficiency, personalized learning experiences, and the transformation of the teacher's role.
最后,陈校长做了培训大会的总结讲话。他强调,教师和学生之间的信任、理解与情感联结,能真正激发学生的潜能。陈校长提醒教师们,无论技术如何进步,教师与学生之间的情感联结和互动始终是教育成功的关键。教师应当通过与学生的情感联结启发学生,培养他们的独立思考能力和创新能力,帮助他们实现个人的可持续发展。
Finally, Principal Chen delivered a summary speech for the morning training. He emphasized that trust, understanding, and emotional connections between teachers and students can truly unlock students' potential. Principal Chen reminded teachers that no matter how technology advances, the emotional connection and interaction between teachers and students will always be the key to educational success. Teachers should inspire students through emotional connections and cultivate their independent thinking and creativity, helping them achieve sustainable personal development.

Mr. Wang encouraged students to recognize the practicality of Chinese and cultivate philosophical thinking, advocating for teachers and students to actively harness AI technology. Principal Liu proposed implementing personalized and tiered teaching, focusing on developing students' expressive abilities. She also talked about the application and issues of AI in teaching, suggesting the establishment of positive incentives to motivate students.

In the English and social sciences group, the discussion began with an interesting five-minute writing task. By having teachers retrospect on their experiences in the year 2000 in their writing, Principal Chris reminded everyone that the world today has undergone tremendous changes, especially under the influence of AI technology. Principal Chris encouraged students to use AI positively, such as for brainstorming, reviewing lessons, and information retrieval, but also reminded teachers to cultivate students' ability to use AI ethically, such as by encouraging more student writing in class to develop their creativity without AI assistance.
