SHBS活动｜国际交流项目分享——在世界的课堂中成长

2025年2月24日下午，宏润博源高级中学以CAS活动为契机，举办了一场别开生面的“国际交流项目分享会”。通过回顾2024年秋季的西班牙与坦桑尼亚两次国际交流项目，分享会旨在引导同学们深入理解跨文化交流项目的意义。活动现场，参与项目的学生代表以第一视角讲述了他们的见闻与蜕变，带领台下师生共同感受世界的广阔与多元。  

On the afternoon of February 24, 2025, SHBS held a unique "International Exchange Program Sharing meeting" taking the CAS event as an opportunity. By reviewing the two international exchange programs in Spain and Tanzania in the fall of 2024, the sharing session aims to guide students to understand the significance of intercultural exchange programs. At the event site, the student representatives participating in the project told their experiences and changes from the first perspective, leading the audience to feel the vastness and diversity of the world.

“我们放下手机，用仅会的几句西班牙语和手势‘杀价’！”王同学笑着回忆道在瓦伦西亚中央市场，他们用购物清单采购伊比利亚火腿和面包，与摊主的互动从生涩到自如，最终在广场野餐时收获到了“用味蕾记住一座城”的满足感。交流期间，一起游览了考古博物馆，从古罗马道路到穆斯林遗迹让同学们感到震撼，历史课本中的文字在眼前立体鲜活。

"We put down our phones and bargained with a few words of Spanish and gestures!" Student Wang recalled with a smile that at the Valencia Central Market, they used the shopping list to purchase Iberian ham and bread, and the interaction with the stall owners went from raw to comfortable, and finally gained the satisfaction of "remembering a city with my taste buds" during the picnic in the square. During the exchange, we visited the archaeological museum together. From the ancient Roman road to the Muslim ruins, the students were shocked, and the text in the history textbook was vivid in front of their eyes.  

“农场主手把手教我们翻炒藏红花，火候一错就糊锅！”吴同学还分享了“Paella烹饪大赛”的趣事。活动前，团队探访了地中海果园，亲手采摘橙子与橄榄，感受“从土地到餐桌”的质朴连接。而在仅有千人的“Siete Aguas小镇”，寄宿家庭的欢迎晚宴、与当地孩子的足球赛和深夜Uno牌局，让“跨文化友谊”不再是一句空话。  

"The farmer taught us how to cook saffron, and when the heat was wrong, we would burn it!" Student Wu also shared an interesting story about the "Paella Cooking Contest". Before the event, the team visited the Mediterranean orchards and picked oranges and olives by hand, feeling the rustic connection "from land to table". In the small town of Siete Aguas, with only 1,000 people, welcome dinners with host families, football matches with local children and late-night Uno poker games make "intercultural friendship" no longer an empty phrase.

“踩到牛粪的那一刻，我差点崩溃，但马赛女孩却笑着说这是‘妈妈的骄傲’。”陈同学用幽默的语气描述了“马赛部落”的初体验。部落房屋由牛粪、泥土搭建，牛皮制成床单，这种极简环保的生活方式令同学们深思。而她带回的彩色星星挂饰，如今挂在床头，成为“幸福可以很简单”的象征。  

"The moment I stepped in the cow dung, I almost broke down, but the Maasai girl laughed and said it was' mom's pride '." Student Chen used a humorous tone to describe the initial experience of the "Maasai tribe". The tribal house is made of cow dung and mud, and the bed sheets are made of cow skin. This minimalist and environmentally friendly lifestyle makes the students think deeply. The colorful star ornament she brought back now hangs above her bed as a symbol of "happiness can be simple."

“第一次用桶装冷水洗澡时，我浑身发抖，但后来连甲虫掉头上都能淡定！”金同学分享了在寄宿家庭的适应过程。家庭晚餐时，他们边看90年代港片边祷告，炸土豆与印度咖喱的混搭，让“文化融合”变得具体可感。而当地人对时间的松弛态度——“迟到是常态”，更让同学们反思快节奏生活的意义。  

"The first time I took a bath in a bucket of cold water, I shivered, but then even a beetle turned back on!" Student Kim shared the adjustment process in the host family. At family dinners, they prayed while watching '90s Hong Kong movies, and the mix of fried potatoes and Indian curry made the "cultural fusion" tangible. The locals' relaxed attitude toward time - "being late is the norm" - made students reflect on the meaning of fast-paced life.

通过这一次坦桑尼亚之旅，同学们懂得了真正的成长，其实都是发生在“不舒适”的瞬间。当同学们不得不直面旱厕、语言障碍甚至文化冲突时，旧有的偏见被打破，新的包容在生长。学生代表Joanna则引用社区领袖MAMA的话：“别让仇恨的种子在心中生根，我们要的是和平的世界”，让全场师生进入了沉思。  

Through this trip to Tanzania, the students understand that real growth, in fact, occurs in the "uncomfortable" moment. When students have to face the toilets, language barriers and even cultural conflicts, old prejudices are broken and new tolerance grows. Student representative Joanna quoted community leader MAMA's words: "Don't let the seeds of hatred take root in our hearts, what we want is a peaceful world."

两次国际交流项目，不仅让参与者学会在陌生环境中自我突破，更通过CAS分享会，将“世界课堂”的收获分享至全校。宏润博源始终致力于为学生提供多元化的国际教育资源——观世界才能形成更宏大的世界观。作为一所国际化学校，宏润博源致力于打开同学们的国际视野，真正培养能融入和照亮世界的中国学子。

The two international exchange programs not only let participants learn to break through in a strange environment, but also shared the harvest of "World Classroom" to the whole school through CAS sharing sessions. SHBS has always been committed to providing students with a variety of international educational resources - to view the world to form a more grand world view.
