Earlier today we held our termly Principal’s Award Ceremony, this time recognising outstanding creativity across all year groups from Year 1 to Year 13. These awards celebrate students who have demonstrated exceptional originality, artistic talent, and innovative thinking throughout Term 2. Whether through the arts, music, writing, science, or problem-solving, these students have inspired their peers and teachers with their unique approaches to learning and expression.


Lower Primary

Young Visionaries -

IVY D - Year 1

Ivy was recognised for her imaginative storytelling and poetic flair, bringing characters and adventures to life with her words. 


Blair X - Year 2

Blair's passion for ballet showcased grace, discipline, and artistic expression.


Issey F - Year 3

Issey impressed with his dynamic dance performances, pushing boundaries in movement and creativity, highlighted by his spectacular “Baby Freeze” move during the Dreams and Goals presentation


Upper Primary

Creative Thinkers and Innovators -

Chrissi S  - Year 4

Chrissi has been a shining example of creativity across disciplines, from vivid storytelling to beautifully detailed STEAM projects. 


DreamL - Year 5

Dream’s ingenuity has spanned writing, drawing, and problem-solving, proving that thinking outside the box leads to remarkable results.


Jonny X - Year 6

Jonny brought music to life with his expressive piano performances while also applying creative problem-solving in the classroom.


Key Stage 3

Expanding Creative Horizons -

Carole J - Year 7

Carole stood out for her artistic and editorial skills, contributing original ideas to NAIS Media and excelling in music and language projects. 


Ivy Y - Year 8

Ivy is a talented artist, particularly in manga and animé, demonstrating both technical mastery and creative vision. 


Ciara X - Year 9

Ciara showcased quiet determination and originality, approaching tasks with a fresh, imaginative perspective.


Key Stage 4

- Multi-Talented Innovators -

Lorna S - Year 10

Lorna has embodied creativity across multiple disciplines — experimenting with innovative scientific designs, excelling in musical composition, and crafting intricate crochet pieces from scratch. 


Eli T - Year 11

Eli has seamlessly blended analytical and artistic creativity, excelling in physics, literature, and languages, with a standout performance in the extreme reading competition.


Sixth Form

Pioneers of Artistic and Intellectual Creativity

Summer K - Year 12

Summer demonstrated a deep artistic vision, creatively incorporating cultural identity into her poetry and designing her own cosplay costumes. Through CAS, she has expanded her skills in sewing, crafting, and culinary arts, embodying the spirit of self-expression. 


Taras G - Year 13

Taras merged artistic talent with analytical depth, excelling in painting, photography, and innovative academic projects such as a groundbreaking Maths IA linking real-world applications to physics.



Honouring Creative Excellence

The Principal’s Award for Creativity recognises students who consistently push boundaries, explore new artistic and intellectual territories, and inspire those around them. Their dedication to creative expression is a testament to the vibrant and dynamic learning environment at NAIS Pudong.


As we celebrate these remarkable students, we also acknowledge the invaluable role of teachers, parents, and peers in developing an environment where creativity can flourish. Congratulations to all the award recipients—your originality and passion make NAIS Pudong a hub of innovation and inspiration!


We now head into our spring break and we hope all members of our community enjoy the warmer weather and refresh ahead of the start of Term 3, with school re-opening on Monday 7th April 2025.

今天,我们举行了每学期一次的校长颁奖典礼,这次是为了表彰从Year 1到Year 13所有年级里展现出杰出创造力的学生。

表彰卓越创意

"校长创意奖"旨在表彰那些不断挑战极限、探索新的艺术和知识领域并激励周围人的学生。他们对创意表达的坚持,是对NAIS Pudong充满生机与活力的学习环境的最好证明。


在表彰这些优秀学生的同时,我们也要感谢老师、家长和同学们在营造创造力蓬勃发展的环境中所发挥的宝贵作用。在此,我们向所有获奖学生表示祝贺 -- 你们的创意和热情使NAIS Pudong成为创新和灵感的中心!


现在,我们即将迎来春假,希望全体同学都能享受温暖美好的天气,并在2025年4月7日(周一)重新开学的第三学期开始前养精蓄锐,继续出发!
