校内座谈会|冲牛剑要注意什么？“光帆计划”告诉你！

UEC牛剑“光帆计划”是UEC专门为有志冲击牛津、剑桥、帝国理工、LSE、UCL英国G5和香港大学、港前3等名校的同学所制定的长线成长计划和高效动态支持引导。

The  "Light Sail Program" is a long-term growth plan and highly efficient dynamic support system specially designed by UEC for students aspiring to gain admission to top universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College London, LSE, UCL, and the University of Hong Kong.

 “光帆计划”为每一位同学量身定制全面系统的成长和升学规划。在周末、假期等学习外的时间，UEC为同学们组织英语雅思、数学竞赛、学科竞赛、名校附加考试等高阶能力提升类课程，从选课、考试节奏规划、英语学习规划、学术活动规划、科研项目规划、竞赛规划、附加考试规划、综合活动规划、专业选择、申请学校规划、申请时间线等，激发学生主动性，全面引导孩子向更高梦校前行。

The  "Light Sail Program"provides every student with a comprehensive and systematic growth and academic advancement plan tailored to their individual needs. During weekends, holidays, and other non-school hours, UEC organizes advanced skill-enhancement courses for students, such as IELTS English, math competitions, subject competitions, and elite university entrance exams. The program covers course selection, exam scheduling, English learning plans, academic activity planning, research project arrangements, competition preparation, supplementary exam strategies, comprehensive activity coordination, major selection, school application planning, and application timelines. It aims to inspire students' initiative and holistically guide them toward achieving their dream of attending top-tier universities.

Jessie校长首先为同学们介绍牛剑G5等名校优势，并表示，PRE班级的学生不宜过早确定升学方向或专攻领域，以免造成学科偏废。建议学生保持各学科均衡发展，通过实践发掘自我，在学习中逐步明确成长方向。

Principal Jessie first introduced the advantages of prestigious universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, and the G5 to the students. She emphasized that PRE class students should not prematurely fixate on a specific direction or specialization, as this may lead to an imbalance in their academic development. Instead, she advised students to maintain a well-rounded approach across all subjects, explore their interests through practical experiences, and gradually clarify their growth direction through continuous learning.

Jessie校长强调AS年级是大学申请的关键阶段，学生们应尽早规划，明确个人目标，并充分利用学校的教学资源和升学指导。她鼓励学生在提升学术能力的同时，积极参与课外活动，培养批判性思维与领导力，以全面提升自身竞争力，“保持信念，勇敢迎接挑战，学校和老师将始终陪伴在你们身边，助力每一位同学迈向理想的大学。”

Principal Jessie emphasized that the AS level is a crucial stage for university applications. She encouraged students to plan ahead, set clear personal goals, and make full use of the school's academic resources and college counseling services. In addition to strengthening their academic abilities, she urged students to actively participate in extracurricular activities to develop critical thinking and leadership skills, enhancing their overall competitiveness. "Stay determined and embrace challenges with confidence. The school and teachers will always be by your side, supporting each of you on your journey to your dream university." 

 Jessie校长以UEC学长学姐们的例子，引出“性格”、“兴趣”与“专业”匹配度的重要性，她认为成绩不是决定专业的唯一标准。此外，Jessie校长鼓励同学们积极发言，因为迈向名校，从勇于表达开始。

In the latter part of the seminar, Principal Jessie used examples of UEC alumni to highlight the importance of aligning "personality," "interests," and "academic major." She emphasized that grades are not the sole determining factor in choosing a field of study. Additionally, Principal Jessie encouraged students to speak up actively, as taking the first step toward elite universities begins with the courage to express oneself.

座谈会上同学们也积极参与交流，关于光帆计划的课程、附加考试的选择、考试的节奏、英语学习的规划等等，学长学姐们的升学成果鼓舞了他们，他们的积极进取也感染了老师们。老师也对在场同学的学习提出了更高的要求，这是对他们的期待，也是对老师们对同学们、对UEC教学和升学的信心。

During the seminar, the students actively participated in discussions on various topics, including the Light Sail Program curriculum, the selection of additional exams, exam scheduling, and English learning strategies. The outstanding university admission achievements of senior students inspired them, while their own enthusiasm and drive also deeply motivated the teachers.The teachers, in turn, set higher academic expectations for the students—reflecting not only their confidence in the students' potential but also their belief in UEC’s teaching philosophy and university guidance system.

“光帆计划”已助力毕业生50%牛剑G5录取，80%世界TOP 30名校录取，100%世界TOP50名校录取。本次“光帆行动”座谈会的开展，让PRE年级的同学们对未来有了更明确的规划，让学习的每一步踏实前行。

The "Light Sail Program" has helped graduates achieve a 50% acceptance rate to Oxbridge and G5 universities, a 80% acceptance rate to top 30 global universities, and a 100% acceptance rate to top 50 global universities. The launch of this "Light Sail Initiative" seminar has provided PRE-year students with clearer future planning, enabling them to advance steadily with every step in their studies.
