在这个节奏飞快的时代,我们常常被压力、焦虑与无形期待裹挟——AI 的迅猛发展、短视频刺激、比较文化、学业竞争,让年轻人面临的情绪挑战前所未有。据估计,全球约有 4.4% 的人患有焦虑症,焦虑也成为最常见的心理困扰之一[1]。因此,“如何与焦虑共处”成为每一位年轻人的时代必修课。
In today's fast-paced era, we are often swept up by pressure, anxiety, and invisible expectations—rapid AI developments, the constant stimulation of short videos, a culture of comparison, and academic competition have created unprecedented emotional challenges for young people. It is estimated that around 4.4% of the global population suffers from anxiety disorders, making anxiety one of the most common psychological struggles[1]. As a result, "how to coexist with anxiety" has become an essential life lesson for every young person in our time.
本期高藤Talk,我们邀请 Alex 老师、Rachel 与 Daisy,同台展开一场关于情绪、成长与自我连接的深度对话。让我们一起回到现场,听听他们如何在时代浪潮中找到属于自己的“情绪锚点”。
In this edition of SMCS Talk, we invited Teacher Alex, Rachel, and Daisy to engage in an in-depth conversation about emotions, growth, and self-connection. Let's revisit the moment and hear how they each find their own "emotional anchors" amidst the waves of our fast-changing era.
Part 1
Alex:Anxiety,我们这一代共同的“无形同伴”。
Alex: Anxiety, the invisible companion of our generation.

Alex老师指出,当代年轻人的焦虑并非“无病呻吟”,而是来自一个被高强度刺激包围的时代:信息爆炸让大脑过载,短视频撕裂注意力,……我们仿佛被困在一个永远在线、永远被比较的环境里。
Teacher Alex points out that the anxiety of today's young people is not mere "complaining without cause," but stems from an era saturated with high-intensity stimuli: information overload overwhelms the brain, short videos fragment attention… we seem trapped in a world that is always online and constantly comparing.

他坦诚分享了自己经历的“情绪低谷”:面对陌生口音与全新教学体系,他在考试中失利;学业压力叠加生活变化,让他感觉被“一连串坏消息”压得透不过气。就在情绪濒临崩溃时,一份生日礼物——小猫Rina——意外拯救了他。
He candidly shared his experience of an "emotional low": struggling with unfamiliar accents and a completely new teaching system, he failed an exam; compounded by academic pressure and life changes, he felt suffocated by a "series of bad news." Just as his emotions were on the verge of breaking, a birthday gift—a kitten named Rina—unexpectedly came to his rescue.
他的分享让许多学生深受触动——在高压的求学阶段,情绪管理是一个长期练习。无论是宠物、兴趣、写作还是运动,每个人都能找到属于自己的“情绪安全区”,在压力之外保留一块温暖而稳固的角落。
His story deeply resonated with many students—during the high-pressure stages of academic life, managing emotions is a long-term practice. Whether through pets, hobbies, writing, or exercise, everyone can find their own "emotional safe zone," a warm and stable corner beyond the reach of stress.
Part 2
Rachel:艺术与阅读,是高压时代最温柔也最强大的精神解压阀。
Rachel: Art and reading—the gentlest yet most powerful outlets for mental relief in a high-pressure era.

当代年轻人的情绪困境,多源自信息过载、社交压力与效率焦虑。许多人通过游戏或短视频“逃避压力”,却陷入“越放松越焦虑”的循环。
The emotional struggles of today's young people largely stem from information overload, social pressure, and efficiency anxiety. Many try to "escape stress" through gaming or short videos, only to fall into a cycle of "the more you relax, the more anxious you feel."

Rachel提出另一条路径:艺术与阅读——一种返璞归真的心灵重启。她认为艺术不是技能,而是本能:绘画、音乐、舞蹈能表达被压抑的情绪、转移负面注意力,并通过节奏与视觉调节压力。正如约瑟夫·博伊斯所说:“人人都是艺术家。”这提醒我们,每个人都有权利通过艺术疗愈自己。
Rachel advocates an alternative path: art and reading—a way to reset the mind and return to simplicity. She believes that art is not a skill but an instinct: painting, music, and dance can express suppressed emotions, divert negative attention, and regulate stress through rhythm and visuals. As Joseph Beuys said, "Everyone is an artist," reminding us that everyone has the right to heal themselves through art.

Rachel还提到阅读同样具备治愈力。2025年的“阅读回潮”表明,在短视频时代,书本成为“精神自救”的工具:提供深度陪伴、情绪共鸣,以及理解自我的机会。研究显示,每天阅读30分钟即可显著降低压力。
Rachel also highlights that reading has healing power. The "reading revival" of 2025 shows that in the age of short videos, books have become a tool for "mental self-rescue," providing deep companionship, emotional resonance, and opportunities for self-understanding. Studies show that just 30 minutes of reading per day can significantly reduce stress[2].

艺术与阅读形式不同,却都教我们在快节奏时代学会“慢下来”,重新连接内心,与焦虑和平共处。Rachel用自己的理解诠释了它们的温柔力量:
Although art and reading take different forms, both teach us to "slow down" in a fast-paced era, reconnect with our inner selves, and coexist peacefully with anxiety. Rachel illustrates their gentle power through her own understanding:

Anxiety doesn't fade in a single night, yet art and literature show us how to treat ourselves with tenderness.

She reminds us that true growth is not about moving forward blindly, but about being able to pause, reflect on oneself, and attend to one's emotions even in a rapidly accelerating era—this practice of "slow thinking" is one of the most valuable skills for the future.
Part 3
Daisy:电影不是逃避现实,而是在帮助我们理解现实。
Daisy: Films are not an escape from reality;
they help us understand it.

在“低头族”“屏幕成瘾”“短视频内耗”充斥网络的今天,很多人对屏幕抱有天然防备。但 Daisy 提出了另一种视角:当我们带着目的选择一部优秀电影时,它不再只是娱乐,而是一种工具——能放松、释放、疗愈、教育,甚至助力成长。
In today's world, dominated by "head-down" habits, screen addiction, and the exhausting cycle of short videos, many people are naturally wary of screens. But Daisy presents a different perspective: when we purposefully choose a quality film, it is no longer just entertainment, but a tool—capable of relaxing, releasing, healing, educating, and even fostering personal growth.

她分享了最深刻的瞬间——肖申克的救赎 中,Andy在雨中获得自由的场景。
She shared her most profound moment—the scene in The Shawshank Redemption where Andy experiences freedom in the rain.

电影让我们在安全的环境中体验情绪起伏,无需担心被误解、评价或产生现实后果。这是电影给予年轻人的力量:安全地流动情绪。
Films allow us to experience emotional highs and lows in a safe environment, without fear of being misunderstood, judged, or facing real-life consequences. This is the power movies offer young people: a space where emotions can flow safely.
Daisy还引用 头脑特工队 ,强调“一直快乐”不是目标,接纳自己才是——比任何心理课本都更直接、更温柔。
She also referenced Inside Out, emphasizing that the goal is not to be "happy all the time," but to accept oneself—a message far more direct and gentle than any psychology textbook.
在观影的过程中,Daisy 也发现电影其实是最真实的英语课堂:其中的语音语调、连读方式与自然表达,都是课本无法呈现的语言宝藏。
While watching films, Daisy also realized that movies are in fact the most authentic English classroom: their pronunciation, intonation, connected speech, and natural expressions are linguistic treasures that no textbook can convey.
她邀请大家重新看待“屏幕”:它不是无意义的分心,而是可被智慧使用的学习与情绪工具。关键不在于“看不看”,而在于“看什么”“怎么用”。带着目的观看,电影可以成为照亮自我理解的灯塔,也体现了年轻人主动探索自我成长的方式。
She invited everyone to reconsider the role of "screens": they are not meaningless distractions, but tools for learning and emotional understanding when used wisely. The key is not whether we watch, but what we watch and how we watch it. With intentional viewing, films can become a lighthouse that illuminates self-understanding—and a reflection of how young people actively explore their own growth.
Part 4
在高藤,我们不止传授知识,
更教学生“如何与自己相处”。
At SMCS, we don't just teach knowledge
—we teach students how to live with themselves.
Alex老师与Rachel、Daisy同学的分享跨越心理学、艺术、文学与电影,但指向同一个核心:在充满压力与变化的时代,情绪管理是一项关键能力。
