On January 7, 2026, a delegation led by Mr. Matthew Benton, Global Market Representative of the University of Massachusetts credit-bearing programs, visited SMCS. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on global curriculum systems and future-oriented innovative pathways for education and university progression, jointly exploring new possibilities for international education collaboration.




在与友校的洽谈中,Owen 校长系统介绍了高藤的个性化办学特色与整体教学理念,重点分享了学校以 PBL(项目式学习) 为核心的跨学科融合课程实践、升学成果,以及在国际课程体系与升学路径规划方面的整体布局


During the exchange with the visiting institution, Principal Owen systematically introduced SMCS's personalized educational model and overarching teaching philosophy. He highlighted the school's interdisciplinary, integrated curriculum centered on PBL (Project-Based Learning), its university admission outcomes, and its strategic approach to international curricula and progression planning.


基于此,友校双方围绕中美教育体系差异、学生学术能力培养、AI 技术在课程中的应用,以及如何构建兼顾 “学术能力与全球视野”的课程体系,展开了深入而富有建设性的交流与讨论。


Building on this foundation, both parties conducted in-depth and constructive discussions on differences between the Chinese and U.S. education systems, the development of students' academic competencies, the application of AI technologies in curriculum design, and ways to build a curriculum framework that balances academic rigor with a global perspective.

The two sides further explored future learning models for high school students, examining university-level course experiences, flexible learning paces, and process-oriented assessment methods. From multiple perspectives, they discussed how to help students adapt earlier to authentic university learning environments while gradually cultivating self-management skills and academic maturity.
