The offer major in Animation and Digital Art, which is under the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Founded in 1929, it was the first university in the United States to offer a Bachelor of Arts in Film. The school has maintained continuous investment in curriculum system, alumni network, hardware facilities and industry resources, and features a powerful alumni network.
The 1,500-square-meter Blavatnik Center for Virtual Production is set to open soon. It is equipped with wrap-around LED video walls and advanced lighting and photography systems, as well as motion capture systems, camera tracking technology and professional lighting setups. The stages can be used independently or combined to create large-scale shooting environments. The center will also house multiple classrooms and laboratories, equipped with real-time 3D design software and a digital asset library.
Since its establishment, the USC School of Cinematic Arts has exerted a profound influence across feature films, independent films, television, film studies, animation, documentaries, advertising, and the rapidly emerging field of interactive media in recent years.

The two offers are major in Games Art and Games Design respectively.
Games Art centers on visual expression and aesthetic style. It teaches tools and skills that help creators bring dream worlds and characters to life, making games visually appealing and immersive. Graduates can pursue roles such as concept artist, 3D modeler, UI/UX designer, animator, VFX artist, and technical artist.
Games Design focuses on the creation of gameplay, rules and systems. It covers programming and coding, allowing students to build new playable games from their own ideas. Career paths mainly include systems designer, level designer, numerical designer and narrative designer.
