SUIS 社团 | 心理委员会：关爱自闭症 · 线上英语公益课行动
协和浦东与上海闵行区同星关爱服务中心长期合作，为发育障碍儿童及家庭提供公益支持。今年，在学校心理组唐老师带领下，Alevel高中部心理委员会大使发起自闭症关爱教育项目，轮流为自闭症中小学生开展线上英语公益课。
这是我第一次以老师的身份和自闭症孩子交流。课堂氛围比我预想的还要轻松愉快，同学们热情饱满、积极回应问题。能为她们授课我感到很开心，也十分感谢她们的热情与真诚。
这节英语课是一段无比难忘的经历，孩子们都格外活泼开朗，她们的模样让我心里满是温暖。我十分荣幸能参与这个项目，也由衷感谢这次宝贵的机会。
自闭症只是说明，有些人的大脑运作方式和常人略有不同。它不是疾病，也不是缺陷，只是人们体验世界的另一种方式。自闭症人群可能在日常闲聊、理解玩笑、应对嘈杂环境与强光等方面更吃力，但他们往往能专注于特定爱好、注重细节，并用独特的视角看待事物。这些女孩都非常可爱、善良。
这是一段美好的经历。这不是一堂以分数为目标的课程，而是一次走出校园、传递善意与帮助的机会。我真切感受到，这正是协和浦东心理委员会加入这个集体后，想要传递的初心与价值。
课堂上，我为孩子们讲解了飞机登机流程、安检设备与飞行原理，还带领他们完成了一个简单的物理小实验。他们认真跟随我的演示操作，表现十分出色。有个孩子甚至独立找出了实验规律，让我格外惊喜。这短短 35 分钟，让我深刻体会到教学相长的意义。
自闭症孩子常常被低估。我希望能让他们尝试新事物、探索自身潜能。看到他们如此聪慧，我由衷感到高兴。选择这个难度适中的主题，是我做过最棒的决定。
因为可以自由选择自己喜欢的主题教给孩子们，整个备课过程我都特别享受。课堂互动环节也极大锻炼了我的临场应变能力。用音乐相关内容教他们英语，让我收获了满满的成就感。
在为自闭症孩子授课的过程中，我渐渐明白：我们绝不该把他们当作 “不一样的人”。他们是鲜活生动的个体，喜欢分享日常故事、旅行地点和喜爱的游戏。这段经历让我收获颇丰。
SUIS Wellbeing Ambassador
SUIS PD has been working on different projects with Tong Xing Autism Charity Center which provides different activities with developmental and mental disorders and their families. This year, led by Ms Blair Tang (the school counselor) , our HS Wellbeing Ambassadors proposed an Autism Care Education program. In this program, our Wellbeing Ambassadors have been taking turns to present online English lessons to the children with autism in primary and middle school.
Our members in Wellbeing Ambassadors have a few thoughts about the English lessons……
The English class was truly an unforgettable experience, all the girls were so active and cheerful, they filled my heart with sweetness and warmth. I am very honored to have participated in this program and I am truly thankful for the opportunity.
This is my first time to be a teacher and communicate with autistic children.The class atmosphere
was far more relaxed and joyful than I expected.The students were very passionate and answer the questions actively. It’s a pleasure to teach them and appreciate for their passion and love.
Autism is a fancy way of saying that some people's brains work a little differently. It's not a disease or something wrong — it's just another way of experiencing the world. People with autism might have a harder time with things like making small talk, understanding jokes, or handling loud noises and bright lights. On the other hand, they might be really focused on specific hobbies, have great attention to detail, or see things in a unique way.These girls were very cute and kind.
A beautiful experience. It wasn’t a lesson focused on grades but a chance to extend help beyond the campus. I felt that this is what Well-being ambassadors are seeking to offer the moment they joined this family.
During the class, I explained airplane boarding procedures, security devices and flight principles to the kids, and led them in a simple physics experiment. They followed my demonstration closely and did an excellent job. One child even figured out the experimental rules independently, which amazed me.This short 35 minutes showed me what it means to learn while teaching.
Children with autism are often underestimated. I hoped to let them try new things and explore their potential. I’m delighted to see how bright they are. It was the best decision to pick this moderately difficult topic.
Because I can freely choose the topics I like to teach children, the entire process of preparing lessons is very enjoyable for me. The interactive sessions have also greatly exercised my on-the-spot response. Teaching them English with musical content gives me a great sense of achievement.
I teach children with autism, and I’ve come to realize they should never be treated as "different". They are vivid individuals who love sharing daily stories, travel spots and favorite games. I have gained so much from this experience.
心理委员会成员们不仅展现了出色的组织力与责任感，更用实际行动证明：年轻的心，同样可以承载深沉的爱。
微光虽渺，万丈成炬。感谢每一位同学的用心付出，也期待更多人加入这场温暖的接力。
