As time passes, all teaching and coursework for this semester’s "Light Sail" program have been completed, and this phase of excellence training has drawn to a successful close. 在语言层面，基础层学生全面补齐词汇、语法短板，能够独立完成英文学术短文写作、无障碍进行日常英文交流；进阶层学生熟练掌握雅思各类题型解题技巧，听说读写四项能力同步提升，多名学生模考分数实现阶梯式增长，距离目标分数更近一步。
In terms of language, foundational-level students have fully consolidated vocabulary and grammar, enabling them to independently write short academic essays and communicate fluently in daily English. Advanced-level students have mastered strategies for various IELTS question types, with simultaneous improvement in all four skills; many have shown stepwise gains in mock-test scores, moving closer to their target scores.

I encountered many new problem types and learned useful competition techniques, which broke my fixed problem-solving mindset and greatly exercised my logical thinking. Teacher Kong taught very meticulously in a relaxed and accessible style. For complex problems, the teacher would break down the reasoning step by step and patiently explain the key points, while also letting us try on our own—this helped me learn and apply quickly. Through this course, I not only built up competition knowledge but also gradually adapted to competition thinking patterns and developed a stronger interest in mathematics. "Since joining the Light Sail program, the most impactful courses for me have been IELTS Advanced and AMC10. The IELTS Advanced course took us a step further beyond our regular school classes, with different exam divs practiced each week. I found the reading div most helpful—the teacher explained clearly with effective strategies, enabling us to absorb knowledge and techniques better. The AMC10 course gave me my first real exposure to math competitions and also helped boost my confidence in math learning. The first time I independently solved a challenging competition problem, I felt a great sense of achievement and gained confidence in math. The teacher’s instruction was very thorough and patient. The successful conclusion of this semester’s "Light Sail" program marks both an endpoint for this stage of growth and the starting point of a new journey. Looking back, we have used education as light and curriculum as sails to help students overcome admission barriers. Looking ahead, our school will continue to optimize the "Light Sail" excellence curriculum, dynamically updating content in line with annual changes in IELTS, international competitions, and entrance-exam policies, while upgrading teaching models and faculty resources.
