Mr. Abrie from G1 saying that:

一年级的Abrie老师这样说：

“

What a day! Everybody arrived this morning with huge excitement and very anxious to meet their new teachers, classmates, and many other new faces at the school. It took me about 10 minutes to walk from the lobby to the gate, because I was greeting many students and if you dare not greet someone, they will make sure to attract your attention in some way!

多美好的一天呀！今天早上，每个人都非常期待来学校，大家都非常渴望见到新老师、新同学以及学校里的许多其他新面孔。平时从大厅走到学校门口会非常快，但是这次我竟然花了10分钟，因为我一路都在和我们的学生打招呼。如果你不跟他们打招呼，那他们可能会用其他某种方式来吸引你的注意力。

”

After gathering my new grade 1 class, we headed for the classroom. The students had no problem finding the toys that I had in the classroom! Luckily we could get all of them into their new chair and started explaining the rules. After this, we moved to the gym for the assembly.

在召集完所有一年级新生后，我们向教室走去。学生们很快就找到了我在教室里放的玩具！同时还非常乖巧地坐到新椅子上，听老师讲解班级规则。熟悉教室后，我们一起去体育馆参加开学典礼。

Next, we had lunch. Everyone enjoyed the food as we were really hungry! In recess, when we went outside, everyone started running, unfortunately we couldn't stay outside for too long because of the temperature.

接下来，我们一起吃了午饭。每个人都表示他们很喜欢这里的食物！在休息时间，我们都兴奋地跑起来，但是天气太热了，我们不能在外面呆太久。

Now at the end of the day, I can say that I am really happy about the students in my class. It is great to be back and I’m looking forward to a great year of learning!

临近马上就要结束的一天，我为班上的学生感到非常高兴，也很期待看到他们在新学年的成长与收获！

Mr. Ralphie from G2 describes the first day like:

二年级的Ralphie老师是这么形容开学第一天：

“

The first day of school is always a mix of emotions for students and teachers. The students excitedly greeted their friends and shared stories from summer break. They sat nervously in their formal uniforms, anticipating their new teachers. I, the teacher, anxiously welcomed my new class. “Hi everyone! Welcome back! I’m Mr. Ralphie and we’re going to have a great year!” We set our class expectations, and students talked about their wishes for the new school year, played some ice breakers, and chatted at lunch. It was a pleasant first day of the 2022-2023 school year.

对师生而言，开学第一天总是激动人心。经过一个暑假后，学生们见到以往的同学都非常开心！他们彼此拥抱，并兴致勃勃地分享暑期趣事。 他们身着正装校服，紧张地等待自己新学年的老师。作为老师的我，跟学生一样，也满心期待着我的新班级。“大家好！欢迎返校！我是Ralphie老师，我将和大家一起迎接一个美好的学年！” 我们一起商讨制定了新学年的班级期望，学生们也讨论描绘了自己对新学年的心愿。我们一起玩了有趣的破冰游戏，也在一起用餐的同时畅聊彼此的趣事。2022-2023学年的第一天非常愉快！

It’s really been a happy day for both parents and students,so do our teachers. And we have plenty of amazing activities throughout the new school year, let’s stay tuned!
