活动预告｜CISK Environmental Protection Art Exhibition

In recent years, green, low-carbon and sustainable development has become a common goal worldwide. As a school for Children of Foreign Nationals, CISK, like other international institutions and organizations, understands clearly the importance of sustainability. To put this concept into practice, teachers and students at CISK are working on a big project about clothing and environmental protection.

近几年，绿色、低碳、可持续发展正成为全球共同追求的理念与目标。作为一家外籍人员子女学校，与全球的国际性院校及组织一样，CISK深切关注可持续发展的重要性, 为了实践该理念，在CISK的校园里，老师和同学们正在进行一个关于衣物环保的大策划。

CISK joined with Feiant, the largest comprehensive recycling and disposal platform for used clothes in China, to pay attention to [sustainable environmental fashion]; and an Environmental Art Exhibition will be held at CISK on September 23rd, hoping that people will rethink about consumerism through the transformation of second-hand clothes.

CISK联手国内最大的旧衣物综合回收处理平台飞蚂蚁关注【可持续环保时尚】，并于9月23日在CISK举行环保艺术展，希望大家通过二手衣物改造，重新思考消费主义。

Our teachers who prepares for this exhibition said: “Contemporary art creation has unprecedented inclusiveness, and any material can become an art medium.” The theme of this Art Creation activity is environmental protection and innovation. Students can find materials that carry their creative ideas in recycled clothing, and turn their imaginations into unique artwork, which perfectly matches with the theme of "sharing the Earth" in PYP inquiry course.

为该艺术展做准备的老师们表示：“当代艺术创作具有前所未有的包容性，任何材料都可以成为艺术的媒介。”本次艺术创作活动以环保创新为主题，让学生们在回收衣物中找寻承载个人创作意图的材料，并亲自动手将脑海中的奇思妙想变成一件件别具一格的艺术作品。同时与PYP探究课程中“共享地球”主题契合，做到了理论与实践的结合。

Backpacks, pillows, denim collages... Our students' rich imagination and amazing creativity make each seemingly common second-hand clothing have a different story, radiating new vitality, which is one of the major goals of the art exhibition: to make people understand the importance and wonders of recycling.

背包，抱枕，牛仔拼贴画…学们丰富的想象力和惊人的创造力让每件看似普通的二手衣物拥有了不同的故事，焕发出了新的活力，而这也是此次举办艺术展的一重大目标：使大家了解循环利用的重要性与奇妙性。

In 2022, the first month of the fall semester, CISKers, with the transformation of used clothes, will hold a different kind of "green exhibition" for everyone and for our earth. We look forward to welcoming you to the CISK campus on the afternoon of September 23 to witness the "rebirth" of used clothing.

2022年，秋季的第一个月，CISKers将通过旧衣改造为大家也为地球带来别样的“绿色展览”，期待大家于9月23日下午来CISK校园一起见证二手衣物的“新生”。
