随着选修日语课课程的人数增多，学生逐渐在课堂中找到了兴趣相投的朋友，也作为克服语言学习困难的学伴。俗话说：朋友之间，患难见真情。在莱克顿，常常能见到学生自发组队练习日语对话，互相检查日语词汇的拼写和发音，尤其在考试临近期间，更是如此。同学们为了取得更优异的成绩，组队努力学习是最令人鼓舞，最令人感动的画面。

我见过很多学生通过日语建立起友谊。在课堂之外，学生们用日语打招呼，拿搞笑的日语短语说说笑笑，甚至渴望用日语表达自我。这些场景在莱克顿的校园中随处可见。

11年级学习日语的学生们即将面临 6月的IGCSE考试，他们要为此考试做好充分准备。所以，他们要在模拟考试中取得好成绩。在日语阅读和听力上学生们已经掌握了精湛的技能，几乎所有人在阅读和听力方面的得分都能在90%左右。随着写作和口语水平的不断提高，在IGCSE考试中，他们很有可能取得最高成绩。

With the expansion of Japanese class, students are making friends with common interests as well as partners overcoming challenges. As the saying goes, friend in need is friend indeed. It is very common to see that students are spontaneously pairing up to practice dialogues, checking spellings and pronunciations of Japanese vocabularies, especially when the exam is around the corner. There is nothing more inspiring and touching to see them gather up together and work hard to achieve a better grade.

Beyond the class, greetings in Japanese, laughing at interesting Japanese phrases and even eagerness to express oneself in Japanese can be easily detected here and there. I have seen so many friendships built up because of Japanese course.

Y11 students in Japanese are facing the IGCSE exam in June and fully prepared for the challenge by achieving decent grades in the mock exam. They have developed sophisticated skills in reading and listening. Almost all of them have scored around 90% in reading and listening. With consistent improvement in writing and speaking, they stand a high chance to reach the top grades in IGCSE.
