A Welcoming, Inclusive Event for All

We want all families to feel comfortable at our Halloween event. To ensure inclusivity, we have planned a range of activities beyond the traditional Halloween celebrations. Families who prefer not to celebrate Halloween can still participate in our Fall Festival activities, which include autumn crafts, sensory play, and pumpkin decorating. This way, all families can enjoy the event while feeling respected and included.

Family-Friendly Activities

Our Halloween event will feature a variety of activities for both children and parents:

 ·Pumpkin Decorating: Families can get creative together, decorating pumpkins with fun and colorful supplies.

·Spooky Sensory Bins: Take part in some sensory fun activities.  

·Trick or Treat There will be some playful games for parents and children to enjoy together

·Costume Parade: Parents and children can pair up together to show their costumes in the costume parade.

·Story Time: A fun, simple and engaging Halloween interactive story for children to listen to and have fun during this interactive experience.

These activities are designed to encourage family bonding while promoting important skills like teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving.

Building Community and Learning Through Play

We see Moi as a community, and this event is a great way to strengthen connections between families, staff, and teachers. Parents can enjoy meeting other families, while children participate in hands-on activities that promote learning through play. From interactive games to practicing fine motor skills during pumpkin painting, our activities will keep children engaged while they develop essential skills.

Creative Costumes and Dress-Up Fun

Costumes are always a highlight of Halloween, but we encourage simplicity and creativity. Children can dress up as their favourite characters. We will also make sure costumes are appropriate and not too scary, so every child feels comfortable participating.
