This year, MIS (Merchiston International School) thoughtfully prepared a unique gift for every teacher and staff member in celebration of Teacher’s Day—potted plants and a greeting card with handwritten signature from the heads of MIS.
Each plant symbolizes the nurturing care teachers provide to their students, who, like these seedlings, grow stronger each day, flourishing towards a future of success.
On Teacher’s Day, expressed their heartfelt appreciation for their teachers through meaningful actions. In the recorded video, they shared memories of their most cherished teachers at MIS and extended their best wishes. The greeting cards with the Heads' signature added a personal and touching element to the celebration.
At lunchtime, children wore aprons and delivered potted plants and greeting cards to each teacher. The tables, set with traditional Scottish tartan cloth, created a warm and inviting atmosphere. After the meal, the children even took it upon themselves to clear the plates, showing their gratitude for the teachers' tireless dedication. Throughout the day, their actions conveyed deep appreciation and love for their mentors, bringing to life the spirit of this special occasion.
