为此，深圳诺德双语学校特意为6年级学生开设了中学体验日，通过体验中学的学习生活时间表、中学课程等，为学生提前准备踏入中学做准备。

走近初中学习的第一堂课，从有趣的物理课开始。同学们在物理老师和实验指导员的指导下，穿上专业的实验服，带上护目镜，第一次正式走进物理教室。Wenny老师运用实验假设、观察、对比、结论的教学方式，让学生们动手实验，对比不能介质下热能的传递效率。

生物课是当天学生议论度最高的一节体验课，不仅是因为这是学生们第一次有机会亲手进行生物实体解剖，更是来源于心中对探索知识的渴求。尽管一开始有的学生会感到紧张，但在Gert老师的鼓励与指导下，大家都非常勇敢，为学生们的投入点赞！

为了更好地保证学生的实验安全以及知识点的掌握，生物老师特意邀请了2位高年级学姐担任小助手，现场给六年级同学进行答疑、实验操作指导，这对于高年级同学来讲，也是一次协作与表达的锻炼机会。

除了物理课与生物课，学校当天还给六年级同学们安排了信息技术课、化学课、历史课、地理课等体验课堂。

尽管中学的课程对于小学阶段的学生而言是一个比较大的跨度，但在老师们的充分的准备与支持下，我们给到学生一个提前适应、体验的机会，让小升初过渡也可以是一种积极而令人兴奋的体验。

除了学术课程，深圳诺德双语学校中学阶段为学生提供了探索新兴趣、加入俱乐部和运动队以及担任领导角色的机会，从而帮助学生提高独立性、责任感、时间管理能力和组织能力等重要技能。通过家校共同努力，我们可以确保学生拥有在学术新篇章中茁壮成长所需的工具和资源。

For many students, the transition can be nerve-wracking, as they adjust to a new environment, make new friends, and learn to navigate a more complex curriculum. To this end, NAS Shenzhen has specially set up a middle school experience day for the grade six students. By experiencing the middle school study life schedule, middle school courses, etc., students can prepare for entering middle school in advance.

Approaching the first class of our middle school, it starts with an interesting physics class. Under the guidance of the physics teacher and the experiment instructor, the students put on professional lab coats and goggles and formally entered the physics classroom for the first time. Ms Wenny used the teaching method of experimental hypothesis, observation, comparison, and conclusion to let the students do experiments to compare the transfer efficiency of heat energy in different media.

The biology class was the most discussed experience class among the students that day, not only because it was the first time that the students had the opportunity to dissect biological entities, but also because of their desire to explore knowledge. Although some students felt nervous at the beginning, under the encouragement and guidance of Mr Gert, everyone was very brave and dedicated.

In order to better ensure the safety of students' experiments and the mastery of knowledge points, the biology teacher specially invited our 2 senior students as assistants to answer questions and guide experimental operations for grade 6 students on the spot. It is also a good opportunity for the senior students to practice their collaboration and expression skills.

In addition to physics and biology classes, NAS Shenzhen also arranged experiential classes such as digital technology, physics, history, and geography class for grade 6 students. 

Although the middle school curriculum is a relatively large span for primary school students, with the full preparation and support of our teachers, we give students an opportunity to adapt and experience in advance, so that the transition from primary school to middle school can also be a kind of A positive and exciting experience.

In addition to the academic curriculum, NASSZ Middle School provides opportunities for students to explore new interests, join clubs and sports teams, and take on leadership roles, helping students develop important skills such as independence, responsibility, time management, and organization. By home–school cooperation, we can ensure students have the tools and resources they need to thrive in this new chapter of their academics.
