学生们将他们看过的书籍带到图书馆，并从老师那里兑换一张票。 然后，他们可以用自己手中的票换取一本书籍。 图书交换活动是结识新朋友、发现新书以及给旧书一个新家的好方法。

一年级到三年级的小学生，想象力丰富，对周围的世界有着天生的好奇心。 故事书设计与写作是鼓励他们的创造力和帮助他们发展写作技巧的绝佳方式。 学生通过分组方式，从老师手中领取到不同的故事绘本拼图，通过逻辑与理解，创作自己的故事书，从而锻炼了自己的阅读能力及语言组织能力。

班级门设计活动是一项针对 4 至 6 年级小学生的有趣且富有创意的项目，学生们用个性的创意设计来装饰教室门。

英语老师提前为学生准备了不同主题的书籍，如《夏洛的网》、《好饿的毛毛虫》、《奇迹男孩》等，并搭配专属的颜色，让学生们集思广益，设计一个跟书籍内容相关的装饰，并张贴在班级门上，从而培养学生的团队协作能力及主人翁精神。

在中学部，我们举办了图书推荐活动，从而发展学生的研究和演讲技巧，以及他们的批判性思维和分析能力。 通过与同龄人分享他们的书籍推荐，学生可以帮助创建一个读者社区并促进终身学习的文化。

举办世界读书日活动是推广阅读、颂扬图书、支持教育的重要方式。 它鼓励各个年龄段的人多读书，欣赏文学的多样性。 通过促进对书籍的热爱，世界读书日有助于创建一个知识更丰富、教育程度更高、更具创造力的社会。

丰富的世界读书日活动离不开强大的阅读支持体系。借助大数据评估系统，通过分级阅读项目Accelerated Reading Program、英语阅读能力测评STAR Reading、线上图书馆myOn等，强调每天阅读，稳步提升阅读效率及学业成绩。在 2021-2022 年，我们每名学生平均通过 105 次 AR 英语阅读测验，这是通过养成每天 20 分钟的强大阅读习惯而实现的。 2022-2023年，每名学生平均每学期阅读63本书，平均每周阅读3.5本书。

Are you an avid reader looking for new books to add to your collection? Or are you simply looking to declutter your bookshelves? On World Book Day, our library teachers organized a book swap activity, allowing book lovers to exchange books with each other, and allowing culture and ideas to flow.

During the Great Book Swap activity, our students bring their gently used books to the library and receive a ticket for each book from their teachers. And then, they can present their tickets and exchange them for the books they've chosen. The Book Swap event is a great way to meet new friends, discover new books, and give our old books a new home.

Primary students from grade one to grade three, have vivid imaginations and a natural curiosity about the world around them. Story Book Design & Writing is an excellent way to encourage their creativity and help them develop their writing skills. The students received different picture book puzzles from the teachers in groups, and created their own story books through logic and understanding, thus exercising their reading ability and language organization abilities.

The Door Design activity is a fun and creative project for primary school students in grade 4 to 6. This activity involves decorating the classroom doors with a creative design that reflects the students' interests and personalities.

The English teachers prepared books with different themes for the students in advance, such as "Charlotte's Web", "The Very Hungry Caterpillar", "Miracle Boy", etc., and matched them with exclusive colors. We allowed students to brainstorm and design book content relevant decorations are posted on the class doors, so as to cultivate students' teamwork ability and sense of ownership.

In Secondary School, we held a book recommendation event to develop students' research and presentation skills, as well as their critical thinking and analytical skills. By sharing their book recommendations with their peers, students help create a community of readers and promote a culture of lifelong learning.

Holding the World Book Day event is an important way to promote reading, celebrate books, and support education. It encourages people of all ages to read more books and appreciate the diversity of literature. By promoting the love of books, World Book Day helps to create a more informed, educated, and creative society.

Rich World Book Day activities are inseparable from a strong reading support system.

With the help of the big data evaluation system, we emphasize students read every day through Accelerated Reading Program, STAR Reading, myOn, and Achieve3000 etc., This helps our students steadily improve their reading efficiency and academic performance. 

In 2021-2022, our NAS Shenzhen has passed the number of average 105 AR English reading quizzes per student, which was achieved by the development of strong 20-minute-a-day reading habits. In 2022-2023, each student reads 63 books per semester on average, with an average of 3.5 books per week.
