加入笔友，与世界其他地方的另一个 NAE 学校课程进行匹配。通过视频通话、电子邮件或书信方式了解其他文化、兴趣和不同的 NAE 学校。

与不同语言的母语人士一起练习正在学习的语言。同学们将以小组形式见面，使用自己的母语和正在学习的语言（其中一种必须是英语）。这个过程中能让孩子们学会正式、非正式的表达方式和俚语，并培养口音——所有这些都将增强你在现实世界中与人沟通的信心。今年我们的重点是四种语言：英语、普通话、西班牙语和法语。

新闻编辑室是一个提供给我们年轻作家、记者、编辑和摄影师合作制作全球校园学生报纸的地方。我们正在为国际教育日（2024 年 1 月 24 日）发布的 1 月 24 日期刊寻找学生撰写的与教育相关的文章。请在 2023 年 11 月 3 日之前提交您的文章以供 GC 审阅。我们还为希望成为编辑团队成员的学生开放申请！如果您想被考虑，请在 2023 年 10 月 20 日之前向 GC 提出申请。

来自各个领域的专家将在今年的专家讲座系列中举办现场网络研讨会。来自体育、社会影响、科学、写作、生态学等领域的顶尖演讲者将与我们一起分享他们的知识并回答您的问题。

除了上述全球校园活动，全球校园针对不同年龄段，开放不同类型的全球竞赛供学生参加，包括：音乐电影、写作、艺术、国际象棋、辩论等。期待每一位孩子能在全球舞台上展示自己的才华，角逐全球总冠军！

今年，全球校园还开放了更多俱乐部供学生参与，例如STEAM 、编程、艺术、辩论俱乐部等，同学们可以选择在校内或者线上参加。

Are you ready for our new Global Sports Challenge? Between 18th September and 30th November 2023, NAE students are asked to work together as a global team to travel a virtual route encompassing as many of our schools as possible, by counting miles travelled via exercise on land and water. You could swim, walk, run, cycle or track miles in your wheelchair. Everyone is invited to take part so let’s see how many schools we can pass before the deadline!

Join Pen Pals to be matched with another NAE class elsewhere in the world. Learn about other cultures, interests and different NAE schools through video calls, emails, or writing and sending physical letters.

Practise a language you are learning with a native speaker of that language. You’ll meet in groups and alternate between speaking your home language and the language you are learning (one of which must be English). Learn to speak authentically, pick up informal expressions and slang, and develop your accent – all of which will build your confidence to communicate in the real world. This year we are focusing on four languages: English, Mandarin, Spanish, and French.

The newsroom is a place for young writers, journalists, editors, and photographers to collaborate on the GC student newspaper. We’re seeking articles from our students linked to education for our January ‘24 issue, released on the International Day of Education (24th January 2024). Submit your article for review on GC by 3rd November 2023. We are also opening applications for students who wish to be part of the editorial team! Apply on GC by 20th October 2023 if you’d like to be considered.

Experts from a wide range of fields will be hosting live webinars in this year’s Expert Talk series. Speakers at the top of their game in fields such as sport, social impact, science, writing, ecology, and more will join us to share their knowledge and answer your questions.

In addition to the above-mentioned global campus activities, the global campus opens different types of global competitions for students of different age groups, including music and film, writing, art, chess, debate, etc. We look forward to every child showing their talents on the global stage and competing for the global championship!

We also have some new clubs such as STEAM, coding, art, and debate that you can join, either within school time if your school is running them or at home if you still want to get involved with the activities!
