“ 我现在是WPS High School的九年级学生，学校比我的预期好很多，最让我眼前一亮的是学校的宿舍，俩个人一间房，六个人一栋小别墅，学校景色绝美，每天都陶醉在夕阳与自然风光中。”

 新学校的课程跟学习内容如何？

 你觉得你适应情况如何？

“ 新学校有很多课程可以选，这个学期一共有八门课要上，其中有四门课是必选课（大家可以参考下面我的课表）。初来乍到可能会有点听不懂课程，需要时间去适应。大部分老师都是非常有趣的，而且十分有耐心，所以我感觉融入得很快，不用担心。学校的作业也还好，是我能接受的程度。”

“除了老师以外，这里大部分学生都是非常友善，大家都来自很多不同的国家，可以体验不同的文化。在这里我交了很多好朋友。而且在这里还当上了宿舍主席。”

 学校的课外生活怎么样？

 你有参加什么社团或者课外活动吗？

“ 我们学校有很多课外活动，如果是住宿生，会有舍监每天带我们出去玩，比如去商场购物，打保龄球，滑冰，去环球影城，参加homecoming等等，我暂时还没参加社团活动，但后面会参加的。”

 What is your impression of the new school？

What are your favorite places？

" I am currently a Grade 9 student at WPS High School. The school has exceeded my expectations, and what impressed me the most is the dormitory. Two people share one room, and six people share a small villa. The school has stunning scenery, and I find myself immersed in the beauty of the sunset and natural landscapes."

 How's the academic life at school？

"The new school offers a wide range of courses to choose from. This semester, I have a total of eight courses, of which four are compulsory (you can refer to my timetable below). As a newcomer, it might be a bit challenging to understand the courses at first, but I just need some time to adapt. Most of the teachers are very interesting and patient, so I feel like I have integrated quickly, so no need to worry. The school homework is also manageable, and it's at a level that I can handle."

"Besides the teachers, most of the students here are very friendly. We all come from different countries, so we get to experience different cultures. I have made many good friends here. Moreover, I also became the dormitory president here."

 How's your life after school? 

"Our school has many extracurricular activities. If you are a boarding student, the dorm supervisors will take us out to play every day, such as going to the mall, playing bowling, ice-skating, going to Universal Studios, participating in homecoming, etc. I haven't joined any clubs yet, but I will join some later."

The goal of the NAS Shenzhen- U.S. and U.K. Pathway Program (Pathway) is to provide an academic pathway for highly qualified students in China to pursue their education abroad while also advancing the cooperation among NAE campuses. 

We believe that this pathway program will provide the foundation for academic success in a full English modality by starting with a challenging yet more familiar bilingual program in their home country.
