"Under the autumn sun in Shenzhen, the flamboyant flame trees have adorned the city. On November 10th, as the first rays of morning light appeared, MIS celebrated a significant milestone - its sixth anniversary of nurturing young minds in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau.
In these six years, the essence of their original mission has remained unchanged. In 2018, the esteemed Merchiston Castle School, a nearly 200-year-old British private institution, brought its dream of cultivating 'world citizens with a sense of national identity and an international perspective' to this fertile ground of Shenzhen, sowing the seeds of international education.
Following a student-centric approach, MIS has, over these years, created a challenging learning environment. Leveraging an exceptional faculty, a rigorous international curriculum, and an immersive English-style educational atmosphere, they've successfully ensured 100% placement of four batches of outstanding graduates into the world's top 100 universities, including renowned institutions like Imperial College London and University College London (UCL).

Amidst the melodic tunes of Scottish bagpipes, the anniversary celebrations officially commenced. The highlight of the event was the garden party, where nearly 20 booths were organized, showcasing elements ranging from folk culture and technological innovation to puzzle games. Moreover, the MIS Parents Association (MISPA) delighted everyone with handcrafted juices, desserts, and other delicacies, complemented by outdoor barbecues and Western-style desserts prepared by the school cafeteria, offering a delightful culinary journey, unveiling the charming flavors of 'MIS on the tip of the tongue.'
