Spending a week in Tanzania taught me a lot about the world, especially the United Nations' 17 sustainable goals. Before, I didn't know how poor a country could be. The expedition showed me the value of volunteer work and NGO services. It was an eye-opening experience that made me appreciate the importance of making a positive impact.

This trip to Tanzania meant a lot to me. When I first arrived, I saw a big grassland with sheep and cows. The safari trip was my favorite – we saw many elephants that seemed to say hello. I also enjoyed helping local children; they are cute. I wish more people could go and see the amazing things there. Before the trip, I thought children there couldn't go to school or it was too expensive. During the trip, I learned that school was free but the facilities were old. We worked together to make a table for them. After the trip, I realized how hard the children there work to study, making me value my life more.

Before I went to Tanzania, I thought it was a very poor country. While that's true, when I got there, I found that even though there is poverty, the people are warm and friendly. After staying there for a few days, I appreciated my life more and more.
