学校董事会很高兴地宣布，为了更好地建设中学MYP阶段和筹备高中部，David Krupski先生被任命为VPA的新任外方校长。经过全面而激烈的招聘过程，我很荣幸地介绍一位如此能力出众、才华横溢的新成员加入我们学校。

Krupski先生将于2024年8月正式开始他的任期。

Krupski先生来自美国，在教育领域工作已经超过22年，曾在德国和深圳的国际学校工作。

他曾在深圳BASIS双语学校担任初中部校长和高中部创始校长，管理500名学生和87名教师的运营。

在来深圳之前，他曾在德国柏林的约翰·肯尼迪学校（John F. Kennedy School）担任校长和副校长超过4年，该校是一所双语、双文化学校，拥有超过1600名幼儿园至12年级的学生。在那里，他致力于维护学校德语和英语语言的平衡，确保每个学生都得到他们所需的支持。此外，他还支持并管理NEASC认证，与柏林教育部门协同工作，并与家长和学校社区紧密合作。

David在双语教学和IB课程方面有着丰富的经验，并在双语学校任教和管理，帮助指导和开发课程，促进专业培训，以及引入创新教学法。Krupski先生拥有教育、法律和政治学的专业背景。他拥有法学博士学位，也获得了课程、教学和学校领导力理学硕士学位。David与广东也有着密切的联系，他的妻子来自潮州，他们的儿子也正在多语言环境中成长。凭借他的经验、学术背景以及与中国的紧密联系，我们相信Krupski先生完全有能力胜任VPA的外方校长职务。

The School Board is delighted to announce that Mr. David Krupski has been appointed as the new Foreign Principal of VPA, with the aim of enhancing the development of the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and preparing for the high school div. After a thorough and intensive recruitment process, I am honoured to introduce a new member, of such high ability and calibre, to our school. 

Mr. Krupski will officially begin his term on August 2024. 

Mr. Krupski, originally from the USA, has been working for over 22 years in the education sector and has experience working at international schools in Germany and Shenzhen. 

He was previously employed as Head of Middle School & Founding Head of High School at BASIS Bilingual School Shenzhen and managed the operation of a 500 student body and 87 teachers.

Prior to his time in Shenzhen, he worked as a Principal and Assistant Principal for over 4 years at the John F. Kennedy School (JFKS), a bilingual, bicultural school in Berlin, Germany. JFKS enrolled over 1600 students from K to 12. While there, he worked to maintain the balance of German and English languages in the school, while ensuring each student was receiving the supports they needed to find success. Additionally, he supported and managed NEASC accreditation, worked in conjunction with the Berlin Education Department, and collaborated with parents and the school community.

David is highly experienced in bilingual teaching and the IB curriculum, and has both taught and managed in bilingual schools helping guide and develop the curriculum, promote professional training, and introduce innovative pedagogy. Mr. Krupski has a professional background in Education, Law, and Political Science. He holds a Juris Doctor in Law and also a Master of Science in Curriculum, Instruction, and School Leadership. David also has a close connection to Guangdong as his wife’s family is originally from Chaozhou. In addition, their son is also growing up learning multiple languages. With his experience, academic background, and close connection to China, we are confident that Mr. Krupski is well equipped to take on the leadership role of Foreign Principal at VPA.
