The reunion with the students brought BMH great joy, akin to the arrival of spring.
After the Chinese New Year and the Lantern Festival, we are reunited with all our students and teachers today! As we bid farewell to the old year, we are ready to start again.
At the beginning of the school term, BMH has prepared a special ceremony to wish every child the best of luck in their new journey!
In Chinese tradition, we all want to start the New Year with good fortune.
Touching the red apples means that we will always be safe and sound; touching the green onions means that we will be smart and clever in the new year; banging on the drums means that we will be able to make a splash in the new year ...... With the auspicious symbolism, we are sure that the pre school children will have a happy new year in school.
In addition, we also invite the "dragon" into the campus to feel the powerful strength and spirit.
We are delighted to see that the majority of children are confident enough to separate from their parents, enter school with enthusiasm.
At the first Prep and Senior schools assembly of the term, students in full dress uniform gathered in the quad. This event marked the beginning of a new chapter, and it served to boost their morale and foster a sense of togetherness.
The ceremony was simple yet inspiring. Dr Wall, the headmaster, presented certificates to the winners of the Shenzhen Red Scarf Medal 2022-2023 and the Shenzhen Outstanding Young Pioneers 2022-2023. We hope that in the upcoming year, more exceptional students will showcase their talents and become our role models.
All the flowers and trees on campus have sprouted and we are moving forward with renewed vigour! Together with the children of BMH, we are embracing spring and the new opportunities and challenges of the new term!
