As the old Chinese saying goes, "Read
ten thousand volumes of books and travel ten thousand miles." This is a
sure way to explore the world. World Book Day and Earth Day met at BMH. We look
forward to continuing to explore the beautiful earth and the wonderful world in
books and nature.
BMH World Book Day and Earth Day——
Exploring Earth: A Journey Through Our Wonderful World
Despite the challenges posed by weather-induced rescheduling, our pupils' enthusiasm and dedication shone brightly in last Friday's English performances at BMH. Under the overarching theme of "Exploring Earth: A Journey Through our Wonderful World," Prep and Senior School pupils captivated audiences with their eloquence, creativity, and passion for the English language.
The day was a showcase of linguistic skills and a celebration of imagination and storytelling. From enchanting narratives to thought-provoking poetry recitals, each performance transported the audience on a journey through the wonders of our planet.
Parents came to witness the awe-inspiring performances firsthand. Their presence added to the sense of community and shared pride in our pupils' achievements. Resounding applause and gasps of amazement echoed throughout the atrium, affirming the hard work and dedication put forth by pupils and teachers alike.
Despite any setbacks, Friday's event stands as a testament to the resilience and adaptability of the BMH community. It reminds us that creativity knows no bounds and that our pupils continue to shine even amidst challenges.
As we reflect on Friday's successes, we eagerly anticipate future opportunities to showcase the incredible talent and dedication of our pupils in English learning at BMH. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and supported our event.
Looking ahead, Mr Chana will soon provide details about the upcoming 'BMH Flea Market,' the second part of our World Book Day and Earth Day event where pupils can indulge in long-awaited delights, games, and stalls using their BMH vouchers.
