Shekou International School (SIS) has provided a Chinese Bilingual Programme for Grade 1 to Grade 5 families. The Chinese Bilingual Programme (CBP) is for families who are looking for a balanced Mandarin/English learning environment. 

Students in this programme develop their academic literacy, critical thinking, creativity, and social skills while benefiting from a unique bilingual, bi-cultural community.

The Chinese Bilingual Programme works within the IB PYP framework, which is based on inquiry-based learning and teaching. It follows the Common Core standards and an adapted Chinese national curriculum.

参加CBP中英双语课程的学生，在独特的双语、双文化的环境中，可以全面发展学术素养、思辨思维、创造力和社交技能。

CBP中英双语课程以IB PYP小学项目（Primary Years Programme）框架为基础，采用探究性学习方法。同时，该课程遵循美国Common Core Standards，并且融入了中国国家课程大纲。
