在今年格外漫长的雨季里，我们似乎一直在潮湿的天气里，在伞下走过很多路程，室外的活动也总是遗憾缺席，但这并不影响我们要在学习生活中保持晴朗，寻找阳光！

今天，我们筹备并期待已久的“世界读书日市集”终于与大家见面啦！时隔两个月，我们希望让这场盛大的集会带给大家焕然一新的感受，所以我们以“阳光”和“可持续发展”作为主题，将“夏日”融合其中，为大家创造一次难忘的体验！

学校中庭热闹非凡，中小学的孩子们迫不及待地探索着各种特色摊位。我们的家长、教职工和合作伙伴为大家提供了众多的选择，从摆满文学珍品的二手书摊到学生设计的手提袋创意角，现场洋溢着欢乐与温馨的氛围。

虽然快乐的时光总是短暂，但这是一个充满欢笑、创意和友好的美好下午。我们不仅希望通过一场欢乐的市集颂扬我们对书籍和地球的热爱，更希望为大家带来一缕久违的阳光，始终保持对生活的热爱。

Today, the long-awaited World Book Day Fair made a triumphant return, rebranded as the Sunshine and Sustainability Fair. This exciting event ingeniously combined our beloved World Book Day and Earth Day Fair with the Annual Summer Fair, creating an unforgettable experience for all, despite the continuous wet weather which necessitated moving indoors.

The Kapok Atrium buzzed with excitement as pupils eagerly explored the myriad of stalls on offer. The variety was remarkable, with contributions from parents, the school, and external vendors ensuring there was something for everyone. From second-hand book stalls brimming with literary treasures to creative corners where pupils designed their own tote bags, the atmosphere was one of joy and discovery.

The event was a true testament to our community spirit. Parents played a crucial role, dedicating their time and effort to help run the stalls and activities. Their support and enthusiasm were invaluable in making the afternoon such a success. Despite the many weeks of delay, their commitment never wavered, and for that, we extend our heartfelt thanks.

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, creativity, and a sense of togetherness. The Sunshine and Sustainability Fair not only celebrated our love for books and the planet but also brought a ray of sunshine into our school, regardless of the gloomy weather outside.
