就在今天上午九点，威睿达思（深圳）2023-2024春季学期的结课典礼在二楼礼堂举办。所有的领导、学生、家长、教师、和相关人员齐聚一堂，用精彩的演讲、生动的表演、详尽的汇报，携手为本学年的最后一页画上了完美的句号。

Just this morning at 9:00am, the closing ceremony of the spring semester 2023-2024 of VCASZ was held. All the leaders, students, parents, teachers gathered together and with wonderful speeches, vivid performances, and detailed reports, they drew a perfect ending for the last page of this academic year.

首先为我们开场的是威睿达思教育集团董事长——谢锁良校长。谢校长通过丰富的案例，介绍了美国各大名校；对比中国的其他国际学校的录取结果，展现了威睿达思学校惊人的升学成果。谢校长的演讲为在场同学们鼓舞了士气，增强了VCA的凝聚力，也极大提升了在场师生与家长对VCA信心和信任。

First of all, Dr. Leon Xie, the chairman of Veritas Education Group, opened the meeting. Dr. Xie introduced the famous schools in the US through abundant cases; compared with the admission results of other international schools in China, he showed the amazing results of VCA. Dr. Xie's speech boosted the morale of the students present, strengthened the cohesion of VCA, and greatly enhanced the confidence and trust of the teachers, students and parents present in VCA.

谢校长希望，每一位从VCA出去的孩子，都会在VCA升学团队与教师团队的协助下进入名校，成为品德与能力兼修的人才。

Dr. Xie hopes that every child who goes out from VCA will enter a prestigious school with the assistance of VCA's consulting team and faculty, and become a person of both character and ability.

紧随谢校长后讲话的是威睿达思（深圳）校长——周国海校长。周校主要通过活动回顾的方式，为在场的师生与家长展现了VCASZ丰富的校园与课外活动。他特别提到了上学期9月布达佩斯交流与本学期6月泰国曼谷交流，这两场大型的交流活动为同学们提供了国际化的交流平台，后续也会有更多类似的活动，更多地展现VCA各国校区的全球布局。

Following Dr. Xie was the Principal of VCASZ, Mr. Tom Zhou. Tom showed the rich activities of VCASZ, mainly through the review of activities. He especially mentioned the September Budapest exchange and June Thailand exchange. These two large-scale exchange activities provided an international exchange platform for students, and there will be more similar activities in the following semesters to show more of the global layout of VCA campuses in different countries.

本次家长代表王女士，也是10年级John同学的母亲上台分享了自己作为VCASZ的家长的心路历程。她提到，她很感激学校为自己的孩子提供的平台，把孩子交给谢校长和周校长，她感到非常安心。

The parent representative, Ms. Wang, who is also the mother of John, took the stage to share her journey as a parent of VCASZ. She mentioned that she was grateful for the platform the school provided for her child and felt very relieved to leave her child in the school.

社长Jack Liang上台为大家介绍了CSCI的日常社团活动、比赛、研究成果。

Jack Liang, the leader of CSCI, took the stage to introduce the daily activities, competitions, and research results of CSCI.

他们的日常不仅仅局限于编程，还有很多发明创造的项目，包括载人激光雷达辅助轮椅、安全版自动保护小刀、锂电池自动下料机构、智能上下楼梯轮子等。

Their daily routine is not only limited to programming, but also many inventions and creations, including the manned LIDAR-assisted wheelchair, Secure automatically protecting knife, automatic lithium battery discharging mechanism, intelligent wheels for walking up and down the stairs, etc.

CSCI的成员们也获得了很多含金量非常高的奖项，比如第二届深港澳青少年创意设计大赛、中国下一代教育基金会第四届全国青少年科技教育成果展示大赛等。

CSCI members have also won a lot of very high gold awards. 

舞蹈社的同学们带来了精彩的舞蹈演出。

Students of the Dance Club presented a wonderful dance performance.

来自模型社的同学们精心制作了各式高达模型，在现场舞台边进行了展示。

Students from the modeling club crafted various Gundam models and displayed them at the side of the live stage.

VCASZ体育类社团类别丰富，本次篮球社、台球社、游泳社均拍摄了社团宣传片，在学生们青春洋溢的笑容中，我们能看到他们挥洒汗水之余，热烈绽放的生命活力。

VCASZ sports clubs are rich in categories, this time the basketball club, billiards club, swimming club have filmed the club promotional video, in the youthful smiles of the students, we can see the warm blooming vitality of life while they sweat.

为了“拯救”被大量学术内容“冲击”的观众们，在中场休息时，数学老师Michael为大家带来了欢乐与神秘并存的魔术表演。

In order to "save" the audience from being "shocked" by the large amount of academic content, during the intermission, Michael, the math teacher, presented a magic show that was both joyful and mysterious.

Michael老师是校区最年轻的教师，他幽默风趣的教学风格深受同学们的喜爱，他将自己喜欢的扑克牌魔术，通过自己对数学与教育的理解，融入日常的课程内容中，让枯燥无味的理论数学变得栩栩如生，很多同学也在Michael老师的影响下，逐渐地喜欢上了数学这个奇妙的学科。

Michael is the youngest teacher in VCASZ, and his humorous teaching style is loved by the students. He integrates his favorite card magic into the daily course content through his understanding of math education, making the boring theoretical mathematics come to life, and many of the students have gradually fallen in love with the wonderful subject of mathematics under his influence.

在过去的一个学期中，威睿达思（深圳）涌现了非常多优秀的同学们，在学科上或者德育活动上面表现出色，在学期的最末尾，我们也为这些同学送上了属于他们自己的荣誉。

In the past semester, VCASZ has seen the emergence of a very large number of outstanding students who have excelled in their academic subjects or moral activities, and at the end of the semester, we have presented these students with their own honors.

奖项全部颁发完成后，2023-2024学年就正式走入了尾声。这一年有欢乐，有磨难，有惊喜，有煎熬，一切的一切在最终的这一场典礼上，都得到了圆满。我们由衷地希望每一位同学都能够度过一个愉快的暑假，在放松身心的同时注意人身安全，享受假期的同时不要落下学业。

Once the awards were all presented, the 2023-2024 school year officially came to a close. This year has had its joys, trials, surprises, and tribulations, and everything has come happy ending in this final ceremony. We sincerely hope that every student will have a pleasant summer vacation, pay attention to personal safety while relaxing, and don't fall behind in your studies while enjoying your vacation.
